Hi guys, I was wondering if being to much of an alpha is a bad thing. Like I know a PUA should always be cool under any predicament. But what if the guy is trying to kill your game and acting all hard. Should you just play it cool and walk away or should you stay your ground and out alpha him, even if you know it might end in a fight.

No point in getting into a fight, and no point in trying to out Alpha anyone. Out PUA him. There's a difference. Don't let him get under your skin, and keep your Game on.

Well, being truly Alpha, you probably wouldn't get into a fight with him, you'd have the dignity to know the situation was stupid and walk away. Being Alpha doesn't mean you have to be confrontational, that's more a sign of someone that is insecure and overcompensating, not an Alpha. So, you wouldn't BE "out Alphaing" him, you would be DLVing yourself by sinking to his level and looking as foolish as he does. Does it impress you when you see some guy get all pissed off over nothing and pick a fight? No. There you go, not Alpha.

I gotta agree with these guys on this one. Although it really comes down to the situation you are in. In most cases the guys just gonna make himself look dumb or like a testeroned freak that girls arn't going to react too. But if someone rubs me the complete wrong way and I feel I'm being demeaned infront of people I have no problem knocking the crap outta that motherfucker to shut his mouth. Like I said play it by ear, all depenmds on the situation.

Short answer: yes. There is a such thing as being too alpha.

That line is crossed when being alpha is no longer the calibration required for the social dynamic in which you find yourself. A lot of guys don't understand that Alpha Male posturing can do as much harm as good when you're in a social circumstance that neither requires nor benefits from it. If being alpha is going to get your ass beaten, stop being alpha, recalibrate for a second, and hit on the guy. It gets him out of your set, and you're free to resume alpha posturing as you see fit.

I think once you cross the line you just become a dick, and no one wants to be around you. A woman will leave you asap. These type of men have to keep recruiting new woman, rather then have a 10 or 11 constantly.

Agreed. This is an area (along with negs) where I think Mystery has over emphasized a concept to the confusion and detriment of many a PUA. When you watch Mystery in action, I wouldn't describe him as "Alpha", which I associate with the aggressive football player type. He's actually pretty swish. But he's smooth. He runs his routines flawlessly. He has done his practice in the field. Sometimes I think you can learn more from watching what he does than listening to what he says.
