About a year ago, a girl where I worked showed interest all the time as follows:

-saying hi to me on her way out every day, and clearly hesitating to see if I was going to strike up a conversation
-being EXTREMELY awkward to talk to (I'm awkward too so it was terribly mutual)
-she actually came right out one day when we were alone in the lunch room and said "your shirt looks really good on you, blue is your color"...I think she may have even said "because it goes with your eyes" but that is so over the top I cant believe it was actually said

All this was about a year ago. I had a girlfriend, and she knew that too, so I couldn't really do anything. At least, I *think* she knew at the time. She actually met my girlfriend at the christmas party but Im not sure if her IOI's were before or after that, it was all in the same timespan of a few months.


Anyways, I dont have a girlfriend anymore.

She doesnt know I don't have a girlfriend.

I don't know if she still has a crush on me.

Whats the best way to find out?

I'm assuming its direct approach, I can't go wrong.

I'd like something fun to do because this is an interesting situation and I want to milk it for maximum entertainment value and report back to you guys on what happened.

Shes a 6 without trying, but when she dresses up and goes for it shes an 8. Shes a total nerd, like me.

I would just talk to her and try to feel her out from your conversations. If things go smooth, transition it into a happy hour meet at the bar after work (if you two are 21). To me it sounds like she's into you but she may just be putting on her work face and is trying to be nice. Pay attention to how she acts around other guys at work. If she acts the same way with them, you're not special. But if she never compliments the other guys or says hi to them every time she sees them then you have a shot. Take the plunge my friend, you'll never know unless you try.
