Hey guys i have read The mystery Method and also ive been watching the pickup artist show kinda reviewing and tryina find ideas and kinda basically studing the show and the things mystery says and stuff the people and i keep hearing him say you have to LOCK IN what does he mean by lock in? i dont get it from what i noticed what the guys do is they just move the girls to the side and just lean back or sit down and get comfortable am i understanding this right? If not what is locking in. Also now that the video section is for private members only i was wondering where can i go to find some videos of people picking up girls so i can kinda study the videos and see how other people do it i always thought watching videos of the game in action really helped...

Locking in seems to me to just be getting yourself comfortable and like you belong. Could be wrong, so I'd check for definitions in the sticky in the Newbie section, or on the thread that says about definitions and terms or something.

When you lock in it should seem that you are more comfortable in your position then your target is. For example if there are no empty seats at the table you steal her chair (tell her to give you her hand, then tell her to stand up and do a little spin - this allows you to sit down in her chair). This way all the other people in the room will see the situation as if she is the one gaming you which shows preselection. Subconsciously your target will also see you of higher value than her since you sit in a more comfortable position.

^ ahh good idea that spinning thing was actually in the show lol so basically make ur self comfortable in the set the only thing i see wrong with taking her seat is that i feel that i am DLV because ive been raised and taught that ladies get the seat if their are no seats is my thinking wrong? i kinda have been taught this by my family parents and pretty much all older people. what do you guys think

PUA to be, that's what has actually spurred this whole PUA movement. Because what our families and society has taught us doesn't usually get the girl. Now, there's nothing wrong with being nice to a girl, but you also have to play the game if you actually want to get the girl.

And, no, it's not a DLV on your part to spin her and take her seat. If you feel that bad about it . . . have her sit on your lap!

i actually dont feel bad about it i just felt that the girl woulda been turned off by that but i guess its fine to do it then...

im pretty sure that locking in is wat u said it was. just get comfortable. and draw them in. dnt get too involved though
