Im sure this has been discussed at some length but there are some specific things I want to know.

For starters I have used both with success and failure, I generally use direct more often than not during the day and indirect more often than not during the night when their guard seems to be higher up with a few exceptions.

For example at a bar if I recognize a few IOI's I'll go direct while say at a house party indirect has far more often worked in my favor and the same goes with different scenario's during the day. If a girl is by herself preferably direct but if she is with a friend or group during the day definately DO NOT go direct, at least in my experience.

I know there is no consensus to which one is better but is there any good way to calibrate which one to use in a given situation? Just wondering if anyone as any insight or stories they would like to share regarding direct and indirect openers.

I also find this true of young girls, they don't catch on to shit as well and are easier to alpha to get what you want.

It actually has nothing to do with the girls intelligence, there are plenty of braniac nympho chicks out there who would love nothing better than a guy to go direct on them.

Some girls prefer direct because they don't like games others prefer it because they like to be dominated etc. You really can't pigeon hole smart and dumb girls like that you wont be doing yourself any favours.

Experience has taught us time and time again that direct, although sometimes effective doesn't really hold a candle to indirect for one very important reason.

If you go direct with enough girls then probability would have it that eventually a girl will go for it (after you have approached every second girl in the venue) but the problem here is that this girl will not be the girl that you wanted she would be the contingency, so you are not really pulling at your full potential.

Direct approach is therefore generally the lazy man's method however a few men can pull it off successfully straight off the bat with their first choice but these men usually have the social status and impeccable style, charisma etc. to pull it off. I.e. if you are anything but a 10 yourself then you are better off going a bit indirect in order to win some points for your personality.

If you are intent on going direct then you should be careful not to be too aggressively sexual as this will be a bit too much for most women and it will put them off. Ideally you want to maintain a bit of restraint and intrigue about yourself so you have not laid all your best cards out on the table so to speak.

Men who go indirect generally have to ensure they are not doing the opposite, meaning they are not being too a-sexual and 'friend like' and are actually able to put a bit of sexuality into the interactions.

Regardless of whether you do go direct or indirect this balance of sexual/a-sexual... nice/asshole... Is what you should really be concentrating on mastering because this is what will bring you back to square one time and time again.

Detox is no doubt going to attempt to save his ego now so I will delve into this subject further once he raises the obvious contentions with this.
