My friend is not exactly what you would call "good looking" but he's skinny and he's been using this wrestling type opener for a long time with decent results. He's had a few girls who have actually drove to him.. so have I but not off of this. I honestly don't remember what I've said to initiate conversations that lead to them coming over in the past, they were probably just easy.

Anyhow, he basically messages them this:
"So, if we were to wrestle each other.. who would win?"

Somehow from there it escalates to the point of them coming to his house. Now, I've been trying the whole wrestling angle for a while and I've ran into a few problems.

- The girls will almost always say "Me!" "me of course!" to some degree but this isn't an IOI or does it mean they want to. They will almost always answer them.

- I'm not sure how to escalate this into a position as to where they would feel comfortable enough to come over and actually do that.

- Even if you respond with something clever, witty, aggressive or curiosity they will play along for a little while just for some amusement. Once it comes down to "prove it" or "why don't we find out", then out comes the excuses of why they can't or won't come over.

Anyone have any ideas on how to actually make an opener that involves that work and keep it going to the point of them coming over? Honestly, I used to chat up social networks when I was 18 and a simple "hey there" lead to somehow us meeting and F-closing. I didn't get a lot of f-closes but every once in a while, it was nice to have that option.

However, in the past few years I'm just not nearly as good at it as I used to be and the random online F-closes have become very scarce. I know an opener like that can (and does) work, but I'm just not picking up any ideas on how to make it happen rather than make it a 5 minute amusing and entertaining chat for them.

Rather than asking us who have never used this opener before and trying to craft how to make it work why not ask your friend?

Was just curious to see if anyone had any ideas or insight on what might make something like that work.

The only thing I've noticed so far is girls saying they would win because they're "beastly" or "I would win duh" something of that nature. I think they just do it for their own little amusement rather than "Hrm I would like to find out"
