Hey so had a pretty awesome weekend actually, really needing to up my game cos I´ve been out here in Ecuador for 3 months and have not had much success. The weekend was great though.
Living on a budget out here means that day game is the preferred method and so we had a session yesterday. Went to the mall and was blown out of the first set, but instead of using the energy as a negative I managed to flip it and it just made me more determined to open well.
My wing arrived and we started through the mall, I opened a sitting set with a very situational opener, they were seated and I just said something like: hey those seats look comfortable where can we find some? The set then proceeded with some cocky funny about her dress in a leopard outfit some jokes about her being a hunter. Set went okay.
I immediately went into a shop where the assistants were wearing black, I used a are you guys goths opener. Teased them about whether or not they had scars and listened to metal. The HB8 my target moved away and I reopened her situationally again about whether they sell jewellery for men. Continued with a bit of storytelling which was well receieved and then finished with ´oh one more thing, give me your email´. 1st close of the day.
I had a set with a model HB 9.5 which was difficult cos she kept getting interrupted in her work. Our conversation kept getting cut off and I felt my value dropping. She was promoting Blackberry. I tried to email close her but when she told me her boss was watching I got out my business card and gave her a secret handshake (like a drug deal) leaving the card there! Seemed cool, just hope my waiting around didn´t drop value too much! Any tips on how to pick up women working who are very busy appreciated!!
My next set was really my best cos I had to push myself out of my comfort zone. It was a mum, a HB8.5 and her little sister, I rarely open sets with Mums in them but I just focussed on charming the mum as much as the daughter! Situational opener ´what are those things (chopsticks) called in spanish? Where can I buy some. I said she was good at using them, had she lived in Tokyo? Simple close about how we should meet up for an intercambio (exchange) of English and Spanish. Finished with Styles ring routine!
A few more sets too, but it was good to push myself out of my comfort zone. Still yet to get my k and f close out here but at least things are looking bright on the horizon
