I met a girl at a store about a week ago. We chatted for about 20 minutes about everything and anything and I suggested that she give me her number so we could text. She hesitated and asked if I had a Facebook, and asked for my name.

I check Facebook today and find that she has added me as a friend. I checked her profile and it says that she is single. She was really cool, and she seemed to enjoy talking to me.

How should I approach this? I haven't accepted the request yet. Should I mention something from last week to spark her memory or start new or......?

Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

well as far as not getting her number, did you ask or command, if you ask it gives her a chance to say no but when you say something like here put your number in my phone and we can set up a time to hang out. of course with a smile so you dont come off as aggressive. you seem to be on the right path with talking to her tho, id highly suggest sparking her memory with a past lightearted topic, playfully tease her a little bit, use your emoticons and set up a day two, but be sure to get her number.. .and dont make it a conversation ender, get her number and continue your conversation and itl seem like a causual thing and there will be less focus on the number and more focus on the conversation.

I said something along the lines of "You should text me sometime." So I guess it was a command? It didn't work though.

Do you think I should send her a message? It seems like she isnt on facebook very often.

eh sounds more along the lines of a suggestion, you should definitely send her a message unless your able to see her in person again pretty soon, its better that she reads a message later and actually gets it then never seeing you again lol, if you feel you txt game isnt that good then i can send you some killer good matierial in my opinion that helped me and awnsered pretty much these same questions i had down the road. private message me and let me know if your intrested.
