Ok so I just got back the longest reply I've probably received using one of the openers on here. I think there is a lot of potential here. I just need some help replying the right way to this.

Yes, I take forever, and in the morning when I wake up I have a creepy likeness to a horse, pig, or any other barn yard animal (plus I'm usually covered in drool). Its only after hours and hours and a team of people working on me that I look half as good as in my photos, then I spend another couple hours "photo shopping" them, hoping to make men think that I naturally look that good...Seriously dude?

If you see the photo of me tubing, that is what I look like when I wake up, throw my hair in a pony tail and am out the door in ten minutes...who would get ready to go tubing?! And who asks such obnoxious questions...

Just a lame girl. I would move on.

ok, so this is gonna happen once in a while. its pretty much never salvageable. you might be surprised at what im about to say next. and that is that this type of response is not a bad thing. why? well, for me anyway, i immediately know that this girl doesnt have the type of personality that i like. i like girls who appreciate my humor and playfulness and girls like this just dont get it. shes just not playing along.

when i get something like this, the first thing i have to do is resist the urge to send some kind of confrontational response. that will get you nowhere and then after you get over the initial good feeling of telling her off, you'll feel like a dick. i would just send her a message letting her know you were just playing and then move on. every once in a while you can salvage the conversation but for the most part its over.

i would send something like "hey there. i think your sarcasm detector might be broken. i was just messing with you. so anyway, im thinking our personalities probably arent a match lol. good luck on your search for mr. right. -[your name]" this is nonconfrontational and shows her that youre not really affected by her negative response. every once in a great while, she'll come back and apologize and then you can start a conversation with her. but dont expect it.

also, you posted that you "think there is a lot of potential here". umm no dude, she actually thinks youre a dick. its not a game or a shit test. she legit was offended by your message. you need to learn the difference.

Wound up blasting her. Told her not to be such a bitch and that she's not God's gift to men. Said I've been with hotter girls(actually is the truth). Haven't heard back, haha

I would have gone with a very simple reply!

"Good, so you're just a normal girl!" Then move on...

I see no value in that response. You were better off saying something overly direct and sexual. That way there's at least a chance (however small) that you get laid.

There's just no reason to burn bridges. There was a chance to continue the roleplay in a funny and interesting way, thus showing positive aspects of your personality. Or, there was a chance to say something else to try to shift the conversation to something more positive. It would have been a challenge, but I think it would have been fun trying.

Girls often go on dating sites only if their friends do it too. You might have burned a bridge with several hotties, and you'll never know it.

Also, if a girl was really truly not going to give you a chance, she wouldn't even respond. I've dated plenty of girls from dating sites and when we log onto her profile to mess around, she has a full deleted message section that she never responded to. But this girl did respond. She was giving you a chance to respond with something that would turn her around. She even asked you a question at the end: "who asks such obnoxious questions." IMO, it was a perfect time to show your personality. Instead, you responded with something lame. I think it could have been handled better, but that is just me.
