I can see maybe concealer at most to cover up a pimple but that video you posted is just straight up to much.
I'm all for trying to look you best and I get called gay on a regular basis because I dress well but going all out on make up is a no go for me.
I say just wash your face regularly to avoid blemishes and you will be fine.

Of course, but what if somebody has acne scars, or burst capillaries? Concealer is not enough. I'm just saying it may be helpful for some. I know you're guys and makeup is not your thing, but have you seen Brad Pitt without makeup? He's got acne scars and that's not a whole lot attractive. I'm not that into makeup myself, and I'm a girl, but it makes a huge difference when I do wear it. Plus you can make it look totally natural, especially if you use mineral makeup suited for your skin tone. It won't look cakey and it won't clog up your pores. Just sayin.

I have used concealer in the past as I can sometimes get quite bad red cheeks but I only use it for special occasions.

I have at times used concealer and even a bit of foundation. If I've had pretty bad acne or cut myself shaving (went and bought an electric one in the end, as hard as I tried I managed to cut myself all the time somehow!) then I would cover it up a little bit with foundation or concealer.

I think if I had bad acne marks or something I'd probably use it even now. I suppose it suggests my "inner game" is not as great as it maybe should be, but to a large extent I am no where near as confident if I don't look as good as I can.

My gf just bought some kind of skin care stuff. She told me I could use two of them for my spots. I have no idea what the hell are those two things but one of them makes my skin feel strange(but awkwardly... quite nice and funny haha) while applying it, and a little tight after it, and the other is little stinky lol. But I think that's some antibacterial rehydrating stuff. Still no idea what the first one is lol. Its ingredients are mainly lipids, all kinds of alcohol, and salycilic acid.

That's the whole point of make-up, to look the best you can, but women got so accustomed to it that they often actually feel naked without it. And I don't think it's an inner game issue, I mean you wouldn't go out without doing your hair either, or putting on wrinkled clothes. :)

MynameisFisher, sounds like a good gf :)

Haha yeah she is. I also found out what's that stuff. It's called peeling in english if I'm not mistaken. It actually makes my skin feel pretty smooth, I was kind of surprised :D. She also has a thing for spots...It was little weird at first but now I got used to it and actually it's a win-win. Thing is she likes to pop my spots and pimples so they don't get too inflammated. After that I usually wash my face with that antibacterial stuff of course. While she is enjoying torturing me(haha sometimes they can hurt really bad if they are deep and at some more sensitive places) my face also gets cleaner.

My gf used to pop mine too. She loved doing it! And she didn't care how much it hurt LOL. Peeling is great, it takes off the dead cells of your skin and leaves nice and smooth skin. It's also the best thing you can do before putting on make-up or going to the tanning salon.

Well as a student of a medical university I don't like tanning salon so much, I think you can understand :) Neither do my gf, and sadly for her, her skin is really sensitive to sun. She's like plain white and have to burn herself down, and then maybe if she burns her yet burned skin over again then she can get a little tan. True story. However...fortunately for her I'm quite fucked up and prefer white skin(no racism intended)

I know tanning salons are not healthy, I do just u bit over the winter, when it's really too cold to take any sun. Otherwise, February, March, etc. if it isn't windy, I just get naked on my balcony and sunbathe for half an hour :P

I known this thread is rather old but I didn't wanted to make a new topic.
I started to use makeup years ago. Woman love it. Sure you can rarely notice that I'm using any but that's the why I use it. Forget homophobic feelings, makeup is great it makes you look much better.
My skin is far from perfect and it helps a lot. Also it's a GREAT topic.
I've picked up many 9's in makeup stores. They are not used to see a men around and asking for any advise gives you huge conversation topics. It's so easy really. Woman LOVE to talk about makeup. Sure most times I don't care about the talk itself and it's even boring but it's just a tool.
try IT!!!
