Soooo I have a fairly large nose. Its gotten to the point my old college friends actually have a separate nickname for my nose... haha. Anyway, Ive always been pretty self conscious about it, and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions for:

1. Maybe a better hairstyle that works with a large nose? (its pretty basic right now)

2. How to have a better mindset.. ya know like how to get past that self consciousness

3. ....or do I just have to get a nose job? ...kidding. Well, kind of.

If I was in your shoes, I would probably just take up a martial art and say it got broken a few times... (I would recommend mma or boxing if you take this advice) completely not biased *cough*.

Oh an for the self conscious part you may not believe this but trust me your natural looks really don't matter and I find guys specifically your buddies tend to bust your balls about stuff like that the most.

If you want a different hairstyle, I suggest you grow it longer, it will make the nose look smaller. Or get a prominent haircut (not sure of the translation) so people won't notice. But I have to say I love a big nose on a man.

Good thing a girl confirmed on this before I was about to write it, because my experience is that girls just LOVE big noses. It somehow communicates manliness.

I have a thing for big noses too, I think people with big noses have character, don't ask me why :) But I wouldn't worry about the nose, perfection is boring. I had a friend once, she was an HB9 at least, but her nose was a little bigger with a peculiar shape. It was the most charming thing about her. She's a shallow bitch so she had it fixed. She lost all of the charm, I swear. So don't worry about the nose, in fact be proud of it!

It would help a bit to post a picture of yourself so I recommend a hair style that will minimize the appearance of your nose.

You get into a better mindset by accepting yourself and not being insecure about your nose.

Like yourself I also broke my nose and after 3 years I am finally going to get it straightened again. However my only advice is do not get a nose job for anyone else but yourself.

Funny, because I actually did do boxing when I was in college and I did break it, so it wouldnt be a lie. :)

You called the topic big nose issue

That's your problem! Embrace your fuckin' nose! Love it! Big noses freakin rock!

Even with a different haircut, new clothes, plastic surgery, new face tied to your old one, or whatever else you change on the outside, if you still think your nose is too big and is a problem, it WILL BE. If you let a nose stop you at doing something, that's what's wrong. You are what you think you are, an image as flexible as you want it to be, so fuck all the rest and give what you have best to give to the universe.

Bitch
