There's this girl I have been seeing. We have hooked up a few times and I have asked her to be my girlfriend 3 or 4 times.

I guess I made the mistake that when I asked her to be my gf at first, I wasn't sure what I wanted. I was just like "do you want serious or casual? up to you." She knows that I hooked up with 5 or 6 girls in school. I do, but it didnt really mean much and I don't hook up that much anymore, it was mostly 1-night-stands.

Her reply was she doesn't want commitments, she just wants open and casual.

After I fucked her one day, I went to a party. She wasn't there but her ex was. I never met her ex in person and I don't think he has met me either. He already graduated so he doesn't go to my school anymore, but he might have overheard me hooking up with the girl. Anyway, he just happened to be standing next to me in a crowd and answering her text. I, for some reason, looked at the phone (cuz it was a bright object in the dark), and saw that she sent a text to him: "do you want to fuck me?"

After I saw her name in the sender and that text, I was upset the whole night and bummed out during the rest of the party. I didn't see the text clearly, it might be some text from the past, or her ex might have fabricated the text and stood next to me to make me jealous (but we don't really know of each other?)

I finally phoned her (another mistake?) the next day and told her I can't do in between serious and casual, I have to do one or the other.

She would ask me, like before, what do you prefer?

And I wouldn't have an answer, so I didn't really answer the question. She then said she doesn't want commitments (study is her priority right now, blah blah), and then she said she just wants casual.

And I said I would prefer serious, but she didn't do say anything to that.

So my question is, should I let this girl go/how I should pursue her if not?

and if somehow, by the grace of god, you make her your girlfriend,

she WILL cheat on you.

and not once or twice, but continuously.

she will also be perfectly happy to get pregnant by other guys,

you seem like a decent kid, this girl pretty much sounds like a "slut".

DO NOT fall-in-love with a slut because you two are fucking.

repeat that over and over until you realize it.

don't be mad at her for it, she can't help the way she is.

but, again, DO NOT PURSUE a relationship with this girl.
