Hi, I've read tons of post on PUA but this is the first time I've actually decided to make my own. I'm kind of stuck on what to do with this HB 9. During my freshman year of college I had a couple of classes with her. One day at the end of class, I started up a conversation with her and she ending up giving me a ride back to my dorm. I friended her on facebook and we message each other for a little bit. By the end of the school year I never messaged her or saw her around campus because of semester class changes. Over the summer, she randomly posted on my wall that she misses me and wants to go to the mall with me. I entertained the idea but I never checked into it. Again I stopped talking to her all together. Now fast foward about 5 months(Sophomore year) and into the present. A few days ago messaged her....

Me: [HB's Name] I miss you.... We totally skipped out on our trip to the mall

HB: I miss you too and I kno.... That is sooooo not cool. :( We have to go. How about winter break?!

Me: Sounds good to me

Ok, so about a day later she inboxes me her number and tells me to text her so we can catch up and set up a date to go to the mall.

How should I approach this situation? I don't want to text her with the same thing as any other AFC, but my text-game openers suck. Any advice would be appreciated.
Don't text her at all.

Call her tell her you are going to the mall and ask if she would like to join you.

Then just be cocky funny at the mall and try to escalate.

Texting is a real head ache you can't build good chemistry through a text unless it's like straight up sexting. Be spontaneous as possible that's really the only AFC thing you could do here is make "plans" to hang out. Call and be like "Hey you busy? Cool I'm just finishing up some lunch/workout/whatever you should meet me there."

Calling shows more confidence, I understand that. But unlike matured women, college girls actually prefer texting rather than calling. (One of my professor surveyed his female students) Most college girls brains think like this: Build relationship through text then start talking on the phone. Once I get her face to face, I know I won't have any problems because that's what I'm good at. I just don't want to screw up this phone game so bad that I don't even get to the face to face. And if I'm spontaneous with the date but she's busy, if SHE reschedules and and give me a date is that ok?

I love what Lovedrop had to say on this. If you guys have a planned date tell her to get in touch with you. If you do want to plan it go ahead and plan it in advance chances are she'll flake and if she says: "Hey sorry can't make it blah blah blah" just respond "oh really? We had a date... Yea no don't worry about it I totally forgot I actually made plans to meet my friends at the sushi bar around that time." If she flakes you flake. punish her and show her you're not waiting around for her decide you're good enough either she gets off her ass and pursues you or you'll just find better.

I just decided to text her. No disrespect to the people that gave me advice, but I think most college aged girls prefer texting now. I just really kept it simple and it really went great. Thanks for the advice.

The plan for the mall is still on but we have to wait until the break. While I was texting her it went better than I thought it was going. She wanted to meet up earlier on campus. We were going to meet up today but she said she had a big project to work on so she said we'll meet up next week. I'm not sure if that was a legit reason or just a flake, but kind of don't care because I'm talk to other girls on campus too.
