My cousin introduced me to his g/fs sister and she's pretty hott. We were all talkin in a circle It was last night after thanksgiving so I was telling em all funny stuff that happened. I only stayed like half an hr said I had to go and didn't ask for her num. ( I was a little nervous infront of my cousin an his gf) then I get a text from her saying your cousin wanted me to text you.(is that weird? )So I just played it off like " he must be drunk" and she replied " lol he is " and from there we had a good convo then I felt it sorta dying out so I said I had to go but we can talk again sometime and she gave me a smiley face and said ok goodnight. My questions are 1. What to do from here? and 2. Was it just a petty convo? ( never met before)

You're in a great spot! Your cousin hooked you up! If she didn't want to talk to you, she wouldn't have. So you've got her interest.

Next, you need to re engage the conversation. Text her with something wacky like, "I just saw this guy in a penguin suit get his ass kicked by a bum! Funniest thing I've seen all week!" Then wait for her to respond, even if it takes hours.

When she does respond, talk to her for a little bit, maybe half an hour. Even better if you can get her to talk on the phone, because you can shorten it to about 5-10 minutes. Tell her you are extremely busy with work/school and you're gonna be swamped for a few days, but you think you'll have a few free hours on saturday, and maybe sunday. When she responds, she'll either tell you which day she can meet you, or she'll tell you how busy she'll be on both days.

If she tells you she's too busy, just say, "I understand. Well listen, it was great talking to you. Maybe we'll meet up next time. Bye!" She will most likely call or text you the next time around. If not, wait a week or two, and try again.
