It was really strange because nothing like this has ever happened to me altough we've been having sex for quite some time now(5 months+). Last night I felt a momentary, and a bit sharp pain under the back of my cockhead. I pulled out and it was bleeding. Since it was erect, and it's full of veins there it was bleeding surprisingly heavyly, despite the fact that it was just a very small spot where it came from.

Turned out that a small tear has occured on the line that runs through on the back of my penis(called frenulum I think in english). However, as far as I know, these kind of tears occur when that frenulum is too short. And it occurs with a very good probability in that case, and it also hurts like hell. But it didn't hurt after, nor did anything like this happen before.

As for today, it seems that it's almost completely healed. I have a little inconvinient feeling if I touch that part, where the scar is, but that's all. Could this affect my sexual life later? Should I worry about this? Of course I will restrain from sex for a few days now because I don't want the scar to break open, and we will start in positions where it is highly unlikely that the frenulum would be overdrawn... And I also wash it there with great caution because I don't want it to get any infections either.

I was posting this here because many people here are getting laid, so I assumed, out of all the people, something similar has happened to someone. And actually bleeding is natural if you have a scar from which it can bleed, it's not like the blood came from my urethra. Anyhow, something similar happened to a friend of mine. His doctor told him not to touch his penis, and not to have sex for three weeks. If after three weeks, things seemed to go fine, then he could have sex but only with lubricant.

Basically, watch out for like a month.

You've torn your frenulum. It should heal naturally and you'll be fine in a while but unfortunately it does mean no sex for quite some time (depending on how bad it is.)

I would still go to a doctor though, because in some instances you may require a small operation. I know two people who have done the same thing, but it just healed up fine.

I have done this before although maybe not as bad as you.

I think it took a week or two to heal up. Depending on the severity you might want to get a doctor to look at it, but I didn't bother with mine as it was a pretty tiny tear. Also haven't noticed any problems or issues since.

Thanks Archer. It's really not that bad, as I said eariler it doesn't hurt. I was expecting something like 1-2 weeks for the heal-up.

I've been in the same situation and I did not want to see any doctor either.. I did some research on that and it looks like it will heal on his own if you do not have sex or masturbate for a while­. However, the same problem could occur again and you would get to get a surgery. As for myself, I am actually scared of having sex again anytime soon (It happened a couple of weeks ago) so I will just take my time to find the right girl until I have sex again, and HOPE nothing worse happens.
