I was earlier in a relationship with a girl, she spread news behind me that she was interested in me, used to sms me love messages, and used to go in office cab with me, we couldnt do much of external isolation, slight kino was involved but the things remained non physical. The girl used to give me hints and wanted me to take action. Once I couldnt take the hint the next day she came and said - "I dont like guys who want the tea to be first prepared then to be served at their table and now they even want the tea to be put into their mouth". I got the hint, she will remain indirect and I will have to escalate quickly. Next time we were in cab I got her to have snacks with me as I just got promoted and then first time we were on external isolation, I told her I felt I really like her and she is the right kind of girl for me and when can we meet next, I just touched her legs and put my hand around her waist, I thought to escalate next time we meet.

The next day I came to office I got a horror email that she is no longer interested in me(I had a feeling that she felt slight pressurized by my sudden actions, after so much time of inactions.) After that she never went back to the same level of friendliness, we keep things professional and dont discuss any personal matters, though she has been at various times giving me IOI, calling people on phone and discussing the same conversation we had when we broke up, saying that things will be alright, I am interested, but my friends told me to dont be needy and follow her and let her initiate, but she keeps things subtle. It has been nearly 6 months when the incident occured and now I feel there is a way things can become normal again. In the midst she has started to date guys who are much below status than me and who are in the same cab which has been a cause of great irriration to me and so I want to gain that advantage again which I had earlier. I think there is tactful way out depending on if I am able to go ahead with the non verbal and smart verbal communication, but I need it to be an expert advice.

If it has been six months and she has seen other guys, and there never was any really connection (being "interested" does not count at all), then you must absolutely move on as well, next her, and freeze her if you can't handle it.

yeah, she currently has no lesser than 3 boy friends, I have been told that she is only interested in physical, so whenever she is not with them and finds me alone in the cab she tries to get my attention. But since we are not on that friendly terms she only gives subtle hints, other thing is she had initially prioritized me as her first priority and even now tells her bf's in cab to restrain from showing any friendliness towards her infront of me. She even goes to the extent of trying to firm a 3 group circle by asking her bf to include me when they are together.

So her IOI keeps coming even now, I just have to continue ignoring her, if there is no way back I will move on.
