Hello everyone. Until I read Neil Strauss' "The Game" I didn't even realize that a "game" existed. I'm a decent looking guy so growing up I've had a few girlfriends therefore I never thought that there was anything wrong with me. That is until I realized that some guys got the girl more than others and it had nothing to do with looks or money: it was all about personality. Since I lean more towards the quiet type I can honestly say that in conversations my verbal skills are poorer than most. That's why I'm here. I'm here to learn how to deal with potentially embarrassing situations, like walking up to a strange girl and chatting her up, and how to take control of my love life. In a nutshell, I want to get the girl that I couldn't before because I choke easily around beautiful women. I'm so glad that this forum exists and that we can all learn from each other and I look forward to advancing my game and getting the girl. No, really. I'm very excited for my future love life and can't wait to get the ball rolling.
PS: I read "The Game" last year and it opened my eyes in so many ways. I recommend it to any beginning PUA. I've started using some openers and basic concepts I picked up from it and I can gladly say that it's already payed off.

Try reading Double Your Dating and Mystery Method... that should help you out a lot... also theres VH1s show the pickup artist that you can watch online... its great because you can see people in action.... hope that helps
