I’ve been on OKC for about a week with what I thought to be a strong profile. Unfortunately, I have received zero responses to what I verily believe were witty, intelligent, and appropriate first messages. FYI, I generally contact highly educated women only (doctors, lawyers, PhD types) and, although many of them are attractive, I would say they generally fall into the 7-8 range. Anyway, I would be grateful for any advice on how to fix whatever I am doing wrong. Thanks!

Haha! The new profile pic is epic!

I really have few options available to me as far as pictures go. Between a stolen laptop a year ago and not being allowed to have a camera here, I'm sorta SOL for recent pics. Anyway, I've made some modifications, cleaned up a few parts, and cropped some photos to better show me. As far a humor, I'm very much a deadpan and, unfortunately that is not conveyed at all in this sort of medium. Regardless, my next step after I fix all the other mentioned issues is to seriously try on the humor front.

Also, do you really believe that listing income is a bad idea? With the education level and potential income abilities of many of the women I message, I just thought it might not be a bad idea since most of them are likely to be goldmines rather than golddiggers. I don’t want someone to think that, because I work with the military I make military pay. I do crazy stuff and make crazy money, how do I convey that? I suppose, however, in some ways I am more comfortable without it on there…

You can disclose your income, if you want. It might even help.

BUT I save that for the first date, if she gets that far. For example I have a pretty nice ride, and a condo in the mountains by a bunch of ski resorts. When women come over for the first time they are really impressed, because they weren't expecting it.

From my experience women prefer guys that are wealthy. But it's better off if they find out on their own. It leaves you as a modest guy with a big income.

If you come off as educated and show you posses job skills, women will likely think you make decent money.


Try it both ways and see what gets the best results you are after.
