Ok, so this was my first time actually trying.

I walked into a coffee shop and saw a gorgeous 8.5 with red hair behind the counter texting. I walked up to the counter and opened with the cat-dog psychology routine. She was totally into it as she happened to be an animal lover. After about 5 minutes of conversation, she giggled and...

Her: So what can I get you? (gesturing toward the coffee menu board)
Me: You mean anything I want?
Her: (giggling)
Me: (Started laughing loudly)
Her: What's so funny?
Me: Well I was going to ask you if you wanted to get a coffee sometime, then realized you work in a coffee shop.
Her: (Laughs) Actually I love coffee...
Me: Great! So when are you gonna take me to get one?
Her: Well, anytime this week would be ok.
Me: Awesome...
Her: (looking nervous) Um, right... haha. I guess I should give you my number?
Me: (Smile) Unless you want to quit your job on the spot and go now?
Her: (Smiles) No, probably not. (writes down her number and hands it to me)
Me: See ya later.

About 2 days later on a wednesday, I called and got nothing. 2 more days passed, and I texted her, asking her what she was doing? She responded with who's this? I answered, "This is Ruggedized, you said you were gonna buy me a coffee." She said, "Oh yeah. Sorry I'm just really busy right now. I'm not sure if we can hang out soon."

As far as im concerned...this was a success
u had a good interaction...and got the number
its typical for girls to flake
basically what went wrong is nothing
the reason why u didnt get a follow up is because u worked some magik on her..basically hypnosis type shit...she was under ur spell...
but what happened once u walked away she woke up and snapped out of it
so
the moral to the story is...once u got her under ur spell dont think about phone numbers...instead think about escalating there on the spot...
now..i know she was at work so it would be almost impossible to escalte into somthing phsyical right there..
however what u gotta do it leave her with a strong emotional impression of u...
Now this is the real trick
and its gonna take balls
I will leave it to ur imagination
but here is an example
can u imagine if you burst into a chessy love song or some shit right on the spot...
imagine the emotional impact that would have...as in she would probably go bright red and laugh...which is exactly what u want...get me..then when u call her up
trust me she is gonna remember u...that crazy fun guy
this is the shit u need to do..maybe not that extreme but truth is the more balsy the better the impact.

So the idea was not necessarily to just get the # close, but also to leave her with an emotionally charged memory. That makes sense. I'll apply that to the next one.

Yes this is a success. you got the number. the only thing i see that might of helped is the idea that you said likes get something to drink and then 2 days later you call her. something that has a low emotional investment like this you want to get her on the text preferable that day laughing and talking. How many guys talked about getting coffe with her. Alot. If you ask about where is the best shop get her thinking and have her invest in the conversation more. This will allow you to call back to it later.
That coffe of blah you told me about is awsome.
This is a sudo statement no need for her to reply, if she does she will rember who you are. Then you run game and get her off the text. you lose no precieved value. No being needy no nothing like that just establishing a text response. If she doesn't respond you can always invite her out to partys or something cool. Invoke a emotional response it makes tit alot easier.

That's great insight, Maven. I'm learning a lot not only from videos and field reports, but also from responses like the one you gave. It forms the actual fundamentals in my mind of what's going on instead of a situational correction. For instance, there are many ways to set an armbar, but the actual staple fundamentals of what an armbar is and how the pressure is applied is what matters, it doesn't matter how you get there, if that makes any sense. What I mean to say is thanks for the feedback, it's opened a few more avenues for me to think on with minimal effort.

Hey, this sounds very good for your first interaction. But, the interaction was very short (noted it is hard logistics), you should aim to get attraction, then get her to qualify herself and get some comfort going (if you game quickly this can be about 10mins). This way your number closes should be more solid. Well done man, keep sarging.

How would I get her to start qualifying herself? I'm not familiar with this.

It is quite simple, you simply ask questions that screen her, you basicially are trying to find out what her good qualities are beyond her looks. So for example a line that i use (which is actually savoys) is 'cool people are a dying breed, so what do you do for fun?'. I personally think it is best to be a bit more sutble to start of with though. After she answers a quaflier, you can reward her with a SOI, which reveals that you are warming to her, she is earning your attraction.

One thing to note, if she won't qualify herself you may not have enough attraction yet. However, sometimes girls find it hard to answer these types of questions, so in this case, just soften the question and help her a bit.
