Ok, I tried out gaming for the first time last night at a house party, and to my amazment it was working. I opened with my own opinion opener on wether or not people would attend my bands and others gigs if there was cheap drink. The girl I was interested in said "I would if you were there" . So it was on. Even the opener got me somewhere. I then used the ESP trick, which amazed her, and "The Cube" from style's ruotine. I had her upstairs, just about to make out close when her friend came in , took her by the hand, and took her from the room. After that there was no getting her. Also, besides the obvious first IOI, she didnt respond to much others.. such as hand holding and seeing if she squeezes back etc. That said she did follow me upstairs.. but her attitude made me very nervous to make the "do you want to kiss me?" close.

So I guess my questions are. How could I have dealt with such cock blocking friends, and what other or preferable closes could I have used?

I am 18 and a college student btw. Kissed a good few girls (I don't know the number) and had sex with two.

Bottom line is you didn't read the set very well. When she has friends around or part of her set and they don't know where you are isolating to this happens. You really need to be within eye shot of her friends or the group initially until they are comfortable with you. Cause then the girls have eye contact and can see each other are okay.

When you take her away from the group and don't do this you get someone from the group freaking out cause {insert her name} is not here and is with some strange guy about to make out with him. It's her job as girl code to go save her and bring her back to the safety of the group.

How to prevent this...befriend the group better, understand group theory more, and point to a spot where you'll isolate her to so the group knows where you are.

Next time if you feel it's going good just lean in for the kiss you don't have to pull out a gambit for it.

Thanks dude, that makes sense alright.. as I said, I'm new . I still have to get over the fear of awkwardness and rejection, but I guess that will come with more approaches and attempts. I would say though, to be in eye shot we would of had to have been in front of like twenty people because it was a party.. I was under the impression that privacy was kinda essential sometimes for make out closing, because the girl doesn't want to look like a slut in front of everyone?

You can have privacy across the room especially in a loud environment cause no one can really hear what you are saying to her over there. Therefore it's a type of isolation. Good idea keeping her feelings in mind about not wanting to look like a slut in front of her friends but kissing isn't slutty as long as it's not tonsil hockey. Further escalation does require privacy but kissing not as much!
