Definitely not an IOI. Depending on the context and her body language, it could be a shit test, could be a hoop test. Either way, I wouldn't risk admitting interest unless you have gotten to A3. If that is the case, I personally would lean over and either kiss her or whisper something into her ear (maybe something like "well, you seemed to have really peaked my curiosity") and then give it a nice little nibble.

If you are just chit chatting, then throw in something funny about presidential candidates all being the same (or whatever).

Or, if it his her just drilling you with a question (hoop test), say excuse me and walk away. Use your cell phone as a prop, or act like you saw someone you knew who just walked in the door. Go back to her 10 minutes later, initiate with a DHV story; if she asks the question again, neg her on it.

Just my opinion. But we all know that I don't even get to A3. hahhahaha

If a girl says SO before anything, then 99% of the time its an IOI, simply because by saying so she is trying to force the conversation.

Then again nothing is 100%, so yes it does depend on body language and tonality, but generally speaking... IOI

its a fucking shit test and an IOI in one. I've gotten this one before, quite a few times i think in the tenth grade from this crazy one-itis when i was an AFC. I mostly responded with "Don't worry about it."

It is an IOI, however i agree with Locke's first post...in a way.

This is really not a shit test, a shit test is done to get a typical answer from someone.

ex:
HB: "I give great head."
YOU: "O really?" (FAILED)

A hoop test is usually physical, this wasnt a hoop test either..

ex:
HB: "Take off your shirt." (said in a public place)
YOU: "How bout you kiss your friend, then ill take my shirt off." (pass, make her jump through a bigger hoop)

What this was was a kind of compliance test. She wants to see if she impy's intrest to you if you return that intrest.

I have had some girls reverse this by saying, "I broke up with my boyfriend." or "Im single right now."

This is an IOI, however they are not doing it purely because they want you. If you respond in a way that affirms your intrest in her, like Locke had mentioned, too early...they might lose intrest.

I personally wouldnt respond directly to it, do not act surprised or do somehting completely AFC like ask them out then. I would probably act as if i didnt hear them say it and go into a DHV and/or routine.

However, i would quickly extract them to a seduction location especially if you received other IOI's.

So i think you guys are all partially right. It is an IOI, but its also a compliance test.
