Hey guys! First post here but I've been browsing these forums for as long as I can remember. Some of the advice is really solid and I'd like to get your take on what I should do next with this girl in my class.

So I've been interacting with her a lot, she doesn't have many friends since she moved here from a foreign country. We live in the same town and go to the same college (obviously) and are both commuters. I've been kinoing as much as I can and I can tell there is something between us. My problem is I can not find a time in class or after (since we usually leave at different times) to get her number. I'm wondering if someone has a routine out there to fabricate a need for her phone number in the beginning/middle/end of class? Thanks for your help everyone!

there is no special routine to get her girls number and there is always time, just have to make the opportunity.

make another time for you guys to interact for abit. tell her that you guys should meet up some time. she would agree of course. take out your phone, give it to her and tell her to put her number in your phone, make sure that you miss call her so that she gets your number, also tell her that you are going to nickname her in your phone to be alittle cheeky.

then you call/text her at some point soon after to arrange a date. the way to ask a girl out is by 'offering' not asking permission, never ask "Do you want to go out tonight?" or "will you go out with me?" or "so what time are you free tomorrow?". They are all questions which AFCs do. they make a guy sound needy, desperate, dependent on doing something with her. the way to do this is by saying something like "we should/lets meet up for a drink. how about we meet at PLACE at TIME on DAY". this sounds much more dominant and it assumes that she is going to say yes.

The first actual step is in approaching, and engaging her in an interesting/fun conversation. I would not recommend just walking up out of no where and asking for the number.

Instead, maintain a conversation, find commonalities, and build off those. You could also get together to study. Since shez foreign, maybe show her cool spots around town.
