I start a new job later this week. It is job in sales. I am very shy an timid person, but can act outgoing when it comes to customers. Does anyone have any advice for fitting in with co-workers, to be well liked? My last job, I worked with a lot of manipulative people who made me feel like an outcast. I just really want this position to work out.

All you have to do is be yourself, whats not to like about you? Like you said, this is a new job, there are not going to be those manipulative people who made you feel like an outcast at the new gig.

Here is what you do: Go buy yourself some new clothes, get a hair cut, clean yourself up, look sharp...On the day you go in, introduce yourself to everyone in the office, shake their hand and look them in the eye, say hello, my name is Tyketto, ect...Just by introducing yourself and getting the "I don't know that guy" air out of the way you will do great.

Have fun, make money and eff biotches with all that new money!
