now basically i've been given tonight off work and i want to arrange something :') she last replied around half 5 yesterday evening, i'd say i don't reply and wait till she does again but im not sure i it my AFC side wanting otherwise. I know she's at work till 3 today but she can text me while she's at work cause she has previously, so should i text her something light or just leave it, i'm getting clueless here.
I'd get her out, this is moving as slow as molasses. This cat and mouse game is stupid - and I disagree with some of the PUAs on this. I mean, a girl wants to feel a guy is interested in her, and that's fine by me. It's one thing idolizing her and kissing her ass, another pursuing her a bit, but on your terms - so if you're asking her out, have a plan AND ask in a way where it's no big thing. If she's at the point where she likes you, she'll go ahead with it - if she's not physically feeling you a lot right now, and you're relying on emotional attraction but don't feel you've got the rapport yet, you can wait - but personally you don't have much to lose by asking her out, it's not like you're heavily invested now...

ok that makes perfect sense to me, so I'll just text her? but something light and fun? you're right I have nothing to lose so it's not really a big deal as it is, but when you say have a plan do you mean of what i want to do tonight? Or something else?

Put it bluntly i think i fucked up :') right so I tried to talk to her and she was being short with me, suggested seeing her in this week, and her reply was "what if im busy" so i just said we could work something out and I'd get back to her, I messaged her today "hey hannah hope you're alright, im free tomorrow, thought we should go ice skating its something different and i've only ever been once im going basketball so might not reply till later x" no reply, the next time I'll definitely see her is that this party in 2 weeks time, other than that I'm having no luck here.

sounds like you struck out by DLV - we have ALL done this, at least I know I have


if a girl that I had k-closed said that the very least inventive thing I would say is, "All week? Well then you miss out on the chance to hang out with a hot guy" I definately wouldn't be submissive about it, give her any Xes or be over accomodating

Yeah, back off. I'd wait for a month or so....

The thing about online dating, I've learned, is this: when you meet through facebook, PoF, or anything they do not want to ROMP the HELL out of you. Not just yet... they're more, or less decided you are interesting, and can potentially set them on fire.... So, they want to meet in real life.

This is different than meeting in person. In person they usually decide about where you stand by the end of the interaction.
