You see if someone is gonna be no fun and try to embarrass me I would instantly have caught her at "You have 3 more negs" or whatever she said, with:

"No. You must not be good at this. You're not supposed to neg a 7 more than once."
or
"No, you're only supposed to use that many negs on girls that are above a 7."
or
"Nah, Im comfortable with my game on mid-tier girls, just practicing for the higher ones."

The guy used cold reading to open, followed by highly unoriginal negs in a futile attempt to DHV. She saw through it all and caned him for it. When he started to get responses like "im an actor" he made no attempt to fork off the conversation (and say for example how he knows such and such an actor, or football player etc).

I would have gone straight on to qualify her and ask if she knew any of these local icons, enticing her to prove herself worthy, and justify her value and power which she's trying to portray.

Negging and cockyness won't raise your value after you get into a situation like that. The best you could have done is demonstrate your social proofing is as good as hers through conversing what I just said, and she'll try to match you or do better.

When shes competing with you for value or power in the conversation, you know you're getting some where.
