There are a lot of posts here where a guy blames their ethnicity for their failure, and the most common reply is people saying race has nothing to do with it. I don't agree with either.

Race communicates a lot. If you're white and you don't believe race matters, try travel to Asia and watch your value as a man skyrocket then tell me it doesn't make a difference. This is because in most Asian countries being white communicates positive things (wealth is obviously the big one).

What is communicated depends on the cultural context. Values are not universal. And that's where some people get into trouble. They project the values that are important to their own culture, but these values may not rank as important to the culture of who they are approaching.

For example. I live in Australia and work as an electrical engineer. Most Aussie girls respond to this job as neutral, it is perceived as a good but nerdy profession, generally they'd much prefer the trades person on the front line getting dirty than the designer in the office. Asians ALWAYS respond much better to my job, because they put greater emphasis on education, specifically in math and science areas. And are more social class orientated.

The important part is to display the values that you do have that are also culturally relevant or valued by your target.

Where the uneven battlefield arises is if a woman has had little contact with your culture. They can attach whatever stereotypes they have about that culture onto you, sometimes this works against you (the asian nerd stereotype) but sometimes it can work for you (in Aus the French may be stereotyped as romantic and good lovers, African Americans as fun and charismatic, etc). If it works against you, then breaking her preconceived idea about your race or culture will help you to win her.

An example of this is DJ Fuji. He is an Asian PUA with a huge mohawk. The mohawk works for him because it is incongruent with negative stereotypes about Asians such as conformity, shyness or nerdy.

Everything matters.

The girl estimates your social status and unfortunatelly sometimes race is confused with social status.

Then again, so is, your car, watch, shoes, wingman, hairstyle, dialect, taste in music, mannerism, etc etc.

And, like all aspects of one's appearance that are determined by genetics, race can be overcome by good game.

That line alone should be adopted by the community.

"Looks don't matter, money doesn't matter, who your friends are doesn't matter, what you're wearing doesn't matter." EVERYTHING MATTERS ON SOME LEVEL!

How people could be fooled into believing any of that nonsense and think something as petite as your opening line could matter is beyond me.


Race matters when it comes to getting a job, that's terrible, but it's true.
Race matters when it comes to not getting held up at an airport, that's terrible but it's true.
Race matters when it comes to picking up, that's shit, but you can get over in maybe 50% of the approaches you do, maybe. But if you are black and you meet a director of the Neo-Nazi Party of your area, I'd suggest moving on and gaming another girl.

Has anyone ever heard of the "race card". It deviously is behind affirmative action , why Ivy league schools will accept students of minority ethnicities with lower test scores, and other trends that are meant to level the playing field for all races. Really it is not fair to either side, rewarding one for less effort and pushing the other side to work too hard. These actions can be used in pick up. There is an art to successfully playing the "race card". It works mainly on guilt. But I am white so I can't give any pointers for it since it doesn't effect me, I only know how to spot when that shit is getting pulled on me. It's just the worlds biggest guilt trip, it's how the jews got israel. It's why every white guy secretly has racist jokes he doesn't tell in certain company.

There is no affirmative action in dating.

Duh. Race and cultural tend to go hand in hand, and such will be reflected when the girl sees what race you are as each race has its stereotypes. But race is part of your looks and as others have said here and else where looks do matter, but they are not everything. One can over come the race factor, especially in big cities where things tend to be a melting pot of sorts.

Most things can be overcome.

What matters is how you see it. You can either go this way:

"Oh poor me, I am a transsexual eskimoe with bad teeth and that is why everybody hates me and I dont get a job or a girl."

Or you can go this way:

"Ok, so I got a rough start in life, so what. I refuse to be a victim of circumstance and I will succeed whatever society says."



Success is never sure but you sure as hell stand a better chance with choice number 2.

Haha. Just because you think there is none and have never seen it in action doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I point this out because race can be used as a positive or a negative, this is one way to turn your race in your favor. I've seen the daughter of a racist man date and then marry a black dude, and they got along amazingly. Like father and son. I'd be naive to say that race wasn't involved somewhere in that relationship.

Nah I dont agree with the initial point of this thread , yeah sure i agree that if your white and you go to somewhere like HongKong you will be desired more however having first hand experience I can tell you its how you play off your ethnicity that counts

If you follow racail stereotypes you wont end up getting far , but if you learn to understand them and learn to use them you will be able to use them in your favour.

I always use my chinese friends as an example ( my hometown is Liverpool) It is mainly a white population on average I would say about 85% white in most clubs.
However whenever im out with them they generally pull as much as I do , they act british , they support the local football teams, they have took up the local accent , their stylish and go against the sterotype . They stand out because their chinese and this works well for them , no ones seen anyone like them before so their always intrested in talking to them. For example we were at a bar the other day and the waitress opened my friend , she came off a little bit racist by a genuine mistake and he used it to his advantage and took the piss out of the situation. ( the reason im using this example is because if you learn to use your ethnicity to the best of your ability people will be intrested in you )

Besides if your having a problem with race relocate , if your in the uk move to London i was shocked by how little many white people were there , I was also shocked by how racist the older generations were to white people ( wouldnt even sit next to me on the bus lol !) but thats going off point . All im saying is you can be smart and race wont get in your way

You take your Chinese friends as an example... Chinese people who live in a part of the world where foreigners are part of the culture, accepted and not uncommon.

Of course it is easier in the bigger cities and especially in civilized places like England who have a long history of immigration.

But if you go to other places where foreigners are not that common... things are different. Not all cultures are as tolerant to other nationalities as England or the USA.


Im trying to say that for modern civilized people race should not be an issue, they would not have any problems with having a friend from another culture, or even a partner. But then again even in the more civilized of cultures there are many people who do see it as a problem. It is retarded and stupid yes I know. Still, in the countryside or even in your neighbourhood, there are still people who would not want their children to marry a foreigner, or would prefer them to marry a fellow whatever countryman.
This is not always said out loud but people passively create an environment where you grow up knowing that you yourself belong to a "better race". Just as most people officially have nothing against gay people but would be less than happy if their own children turned out to be gay.
This kind of hidden prejudices are present everywhere but they are less acceptable in "modern" countries. Imagine growing up in a place where this was accepted, where everyone you know agree that you are indeed the "better race". You would subconsciously maybe not agree but at least hesitate before crossing those unspoken borders. Hence... Race matters, just like everything matters.


Still, it does not matter so much that you are hopelessly screwed if you belong to a different etnicity from the man on the street. You can still overcome most things with tight game.


This topic comes up every now and again on the forum and there is never ever any consensus. People will think what they want to think. Sadly these issues have replaced realism with wishful thinking. Hanging on to an ideology that you desperatly want to be true does not make it true.

People are prejudiced against: Races, sexual preferences, genders, ages, career choices, body-composition, health issues, hairstyle... As I said before add whatever you want to the list... Just deal with it.

Yes, race plays as big of a role in gaming as so does any other aspect in a woman. It works as a two-way kind of thing. Depends on the both of you or the group that you go up to.
