''Alpha Body'' = dont fucking slouch, chin up, relax BLAM you're alpha.
women dont give 2 fucks and a shit how you look you need to walk alpha and talk alpha the bod will come in time thats simple - more important is have something to say, be interesting

Heres how to get a body that helps with the attraction bellow

-Do some cardio, doesn't have to be much and doesn't have to be running, infact fuck running for for a swim!

-Lift weights, doing High weight Low rep exercise with good form will help sculpt those muscles while also using up the surrounding fatty tissues of where ever you are working. In my experience use free weights (thats dumbells instead of bars but this is an opinion) and you want to be maxing out at around 8 reps with good form.
-----> the ''show muslces'' or those that make you look masculine are the Pecs (chest)/Deltoids (shoulders)/ Lats (back, the bit your arms rest on to the rear of your ribs) these 3 muscle groups specifically give you a great alpha male shape that said DO NOT just work on these work the full body do not neglect your legs or back[/b]

High weight low reps is exactly the opposite of what you are looking for. Pyramid up the weight from anywhere around 12-15 reps down to 6 reps in order to hit multiple rep ranges for maximum development.

done weights for erm i think 5 or 6 years and martial arts, and loads of friends that powerlift/ bodybuild i was going to build but got into boxing so can't afford the weight.
I'm not a qualified personal trainer or conditioner but i've seen results in myself and others through high weight low rep exercises and i've read a bit more then the average joe down the gym.

Im a competitive bodybuilder and I had hired the professional services of one of the best contest preparation coaches in the world in handle my 14 week plan for my last competition. Competitive bodybuilders know more than any other athletic demographic about how to build muscle and lose fat, and holding onto muscle while losing fat (which is the idea behind every contest prep) is one of the most complicated and difficult physiological processes of the body. If you feel like you must do low rep high weight sets then at least have alternating days of a hypertrophic rep range (8-15), periodizing rep ranges has been shown to be the best method for building and holding onto muscle.

Otis we're talking about a guy whos not looking to body build just looking to tone up and lose fat so free weights (dumbells etc) on heavy weights would be a pretty good way to work multiple muscle groups at one time + stabilising muscles, use up surrounding fats and tone up the muscles there just to give a ''normal'' shape not exaggerated peak forms that as a body builder you're aiming for... (and also speed up his metabolism a little bit more to help with getting rid of that excess fat)

P.s you compete? how'd you do in your contests?

The point bodybuilders have a wealth of knowledge about exercise and nutrition that can help anybody with their goals, the reason bodybuilders can have such extreme physiques is because of the fact we have such developed knowledge. And as for my placings, I took second. Fucking pissed.

Second that frickin sucks, my mate started doing ''functional strength training'' like with the medicine balls and all that jazz he said it increased his strength and therefore allowed him to bulk up a little better, preaches it to anyone who'll listen about how if you plateau you should try it out so maybe thats something you can work into your work out.

still 2nd is pretty good at least you know mostly you're doing it right

I agree that looks matter, but only partially. Like you said, it's a bonus.

If your game is solid, you can be fat and ugly and still get laid often. But in my opinion it's about 30% of getting chicks.

This thread is funny as hell. Yeah I train till I get light headed, even puked a few times. How do think pros look the way they do.... Even the smaller natural bodybuilders. They don't go in there to do push ups, and play with the 10lbs plates. If you want to get in great shape work hard, don't half ass it, and work out with people who are more knowaglabe than you. If your in the gym around the shoe string armed panty wearing guys who put down the big alfa males, get away from them. Find the guy in the gym that's in the best shape, be respectful, ask for pointers and that wil help you improve a ton. Being healthy and in shape makes you feel good period. And when you feel good you look good. Women are more sexually attracted to a male who has a strong mind set, they can smell the testo coming out of you, and that's many steps ahead than any average guy with all the game. And yes im a meat head. I look at it like why just be good in one aspect, i want to be the best all around. I've never had a girl turn me down because of my size. It actually makes more women come up to me and start a convo and they automaticly want to touch me first. When the day is coming to an end and a girls thinking about a man to lay with.... Guess what the smooth talking isn't the only thing on there mind. Women like feeling safe and something good to hold on to at night. Not saying you have to be a giant muscle bound of a man. But if they wanted something soft to sleep with at night... They would just use there pillow or Teddy bear. Same goes if your bone. ....not trying to piss any of you guys off but thats how I see it... I haven't always been big... So I've seen both sides of it. Always be your best in every aspect
