That should be a great start, straight PUA material isn't about making friend or being popular

why do you want to be popular? I mean obviously everyone wants more friends and a better social life, but you need to really know why you want it. Is it because you want to be seen as that popular guy, or because you want a high quality circle of friends to help you get what you want out of life?

Go join social clubs for shit you love doing. This puts you out in the world with people that have the same interests as you. Join a club sport, take cooking classes, try improv comedy, just get out in the world and find awesome people with similar interests. Meetup.com is also a great free tool for this sort of networking.

That's the beauty of the internet and social networks- we have the capacity to be more connected than ever. But you have to go out into the world first to create those connections.

Maybe try and stop trying to read all this and go out and be yourself.. follow your own path and you will find things will fall into place. Just "be" don't try, don't fabricate, all this will make it harder for you to be yourself.

If you need to cut ties, stop what your doing, move to a different city and start fresh, DO IT. Find your own way man, the fact that you want all this is a great start.

Another thing is you don't need to rely on meeting women at parties or social events. Uni, shared interests, mutual friends are all great places. Think your anxiety and shyness comes from not having acceptance of yourself.

i would be brutually honest here.
The basic aim of this forum is to get guys gathered and then sell products. Do you see stealth attraction? Do you see four of the gamblers programme for free? Do you see bootcamp with afc adam? Makes sense?
These people are not interested to help you, its all about making money by selling shit. Does gambler or afc adam answer guys here?
So intsead of reading and following advice here, it would be be better for yourself to get a good bood and read it, figure out the shit for yourself as most of the guys here are strugglers trying to improve. Ofcourse they can advice you but they cant give you the best advice.
And dont depent on forums, products etc so much. You will have to figure out most of things for yourself by taking action and learning from your mistakes, improving along the way

Second, This site that you enjoy for free is owned by AFC Adam and Gambler.

Thrid, Adam and gambler are both very very busy people and do spend time on this sight, however not as much as the average person being that they are far busier than the average person. Feel free to check out the ask AFC Adam section sometime tho...

If you go out there as someone else and people do fall for it then it won't ever be you that's popular. It'll be some character you created.

Being yourself is the key starting point. Of course you develop and grow and evolve. But it is still you out there. And people are not stupid. People get close with people. They like to get to know people. Take it from someone who is quite hard to get to know sometimes. People make the effort and when they do, they don't want to see some pretend character in the place where a real person should stand.

No skills set is a substitute for not liking yourself. Time after time I've seen pick up artists who could "out game" me and others implode or go round in circles because they simply didn't like themselves. He who builds his house on sand shall see his house fall when the tide comes in.

Not going to lie. What you're looking for will take time.

You can keep you motivation up by maintaining an achievement diary each day, listing all your achievements for the day.

I understand you've spent time already but you're not actively doing much about it from what I understand.

The main things people like about people are if they can relate to them (rapport), if they can make them laugh, and whether they have a strong integrity (strong reality and sense of self).

These aren't easy to ascertain but with time the pay off is great.

What happens is that people naturally master these by taking the journey of becoming a PUA. Don't make the mistake of thinking that if you are their leader they will like you. Also understand that you can very easily be popular with low status people. It's harder to popular with high status people because they don't take the bullshit.

Reading:
Read all of David Deangelo's stuff on being funny. It's not solely based on being funny but it covers a lot of great areas.
Watch, emulate comedians. Find a comedian most like you and copy him. Funnyness is about the character not what you say. For example my character is I'm the straight guy, as seen in sitcoms. Also read Melvin Helitzer- comedy wrting secrets.

For rapport read Juggler's stuff at charisma arts. His pick up technique is about creating good rapport and connection with women so his stuff is great for rapport. Start conversations with people, people are friendly.

And finally, with gaining a strong reality read is Maxwell Matlz- psycho cybernetics and The way of the superior man by David Deida'. The best two things are HYPNOSIS combined with actually going out and just having conversations with people. When you get more confident you'll find it's DAMN EASY to have a conversation with anyone.

For hypnosis check out all of Hypnoticas stuff his stuff is based around making a real man. His stuff is fucking fantastic.

Once you have a good theory knowledge go out and FUCKING DO IT.

I resonate with where you are and the problem is just doing it. Fuck what everyone else thinks you're holding back because you don't want to be alone you want to be "POPULAR" well by doing what you're doing you are hurting yourself more than helping. So fuck it, throw caution to the wind and just go for it. Accept you won't be amazing to begin with and stick with the achievements don't even acknowledge any faults.
