Just curious what does it take to get your book stocked at a borders store?
Normally, the way that happens is either you're already a big name author, you're a local author, OR you have enough requests from customers to show the management they can make money off of keeping it in stock.

Welcome Alan, we're glad to have your insight..

Interesting material. Just got my full copy today, and am looking forward to exploring it in greater detail.

I agree with Trivials original assessment. It sure sounds really FISHY, especially with the first post and the way it was presented. The truth will come out eventually.

What suprised me is your complete collapse of frame, Trivial. Claire stomped her feet and said she was going to take her ball if she did not get her way.
You caved and apologized. Even stated you 'Trust' them for no other reason than for what they said.

No, if you read what I wrote I apologized to the author and I did not say I trust them I said I "trust you", referring to the author and his post about Google..... I would not apologize to Claire in this life time. Telling me to erase my posts and then threatening to tell the mods. She can go play on the freeway for all I care.

I know you didn't mean to, but try not to twist my words!

Let's try to keep things on topic and DHV, guys.. We have a new guest.

And let's keep our conspiracy theories to ourselves, absent any real evidence. Mode 1 is apparently a serious piece of work, and it deserves a look.

Again Alan, we're glad to have you. And hope you'll help us understand more about your communications concepts at your leisure.

Agreed, and just for everyones peace of mind Claire and Mode_One are posting from diffrent IP addresses, so I wouldn't be to worried about there being a conspiracy.

Is there a full version of Mode 1 on e-book? Personally I preffer e-books... mostly due to my impatient nature... but if I can't get a full version to check out then I guess I could wait for a print one.

Overall from what I've read it looks like an interesting piece of work.

Doc, go to this page and scroll down to Mode 1 ebook..

http://www.modeone.net/products/

It's $14.95.

There's another e book he's written called 'Mode 1' Hardcore (casual sex) that I also picked up. You'll find it on the same page. It's $9.95.

I read the little excerpt that Starbuck provided the link to.

Sounds very similar to David Ds stuff. Except he by-passes all of the other three modes and only focuses on Mode 1.
Is there Cocky-Funny part of Mode 1?

I have not read Venusians Arts so it my be missing. I have read DD stuff and it is very beneficial.

Edited by Starbuck.

Claire, I just drew a free throw line on the outer lane. Lets play a pickup game. Wait for me, I will be there in a bit.

Well, I haven't read the excerpt from the link, yet, so I can't comment on that.

But, Valence, you've read David D's stuff and see the value, but haven't read Venusian Arts Handbook? WOW. If you see value in David D's stuff, you should definitely read Venusian Arts.

I have not read the book but I have been exposed to most of the material.

I was not all that enthusastic about reading it after I met him and read the other material.

Venusian arts is a great book from many different perspectives.

Although like most books of it's type it's no more the whole cup of tea than anything else. Although it does a fairly good job of covering most of the bases and is very well organized. Magic bullets is a worthy sequel.

Like Claire attempted to point out, authors are a lot like everybody else, they all bring a different set of experiences to the party.

Funny thing about Mystery is he's a tall guy, with strong features, great body language and eye contact skills. He could probably walk up to a woman and utter nothing more than, 'I'd like to kiss you where the sun don't shine' from the first moment and be successful a good part of the time.

Like Alan points out, if a 250lb. ugly as sin fat chick walks up to you, doesn't really matter what she says. You're probably not going to be attracted to her, and you're definitely not going to go home with her, etc... Unless you're terribly drunk, insane, or desperate. Same with women in many ways. And worse in some ways in that they tend to quite a bit more selective than we are.

They don't call women the fairer sex for nothing. Be glad you're not a 250 lb. ugly fat chick.

But anyway, the whole purpose of a lot of these books is to explain what we know about the game, and what we know about male/female interaction and psychology. With knowledge comes power and confidence. In that regard they are quite useful. Nothing's 100%.

But then the more flexible and knowledgeable you are about the game, and yourself the better chance you have of being able to attract and connect with any generation of woman.
