Excuse my ignorance, but what is an "EL/SC set up"??

LOL it was some scandal where this girl made three different accounts to get her point across. And it just seems weird how this girl starts talking about your book then all of a sudden you appear.

Sorry if its not true but after that incident its hard for me to trust people over online.

I can assure you ... the poster "Claire" and I are not the same person. I don't even know Claire. She even asked me via private message how did I find this message board.

The reality is, anytime someone mentions my book, or contents related to my book, on a message board and/or blog, 90% of the time, it inevitably finds its way to Google.

I can't tell you how many message boards I've discovered simply because either I saw a hit on Google, or one of the people who read my book found a link on Google.

That's how I found this site. A guy who read my book sent me an Email saying, "Your book is being talked about on this message board called Pick-Up Artist Forum...." So, I checked it out.

At least twice though, unfortunately, I got banned after making comments on a message board. Once, was actually on one of Mystery's message boards. There was this whole thread where guys were complimenting my book, and all of the sudden, 2 months later, one of the admins of the Mystery site said, "I know you're paying these guys [money] to hype up your book. You're banned...." I didn't even know these guys. I couldn't help it if they liked my book....

But again ... I don't know Claire. But she seems cool....

(Although, it's rare you see a female poster on a men's attraction & seduction message board)

My apologies. And you were banned because your book would take money away from there products and they probably just thought of a reason to ban you. I will take a look at your book when it comes out. Is it coming to borders and books because I work there and this seems interesting.

For what it's worth Trivial, you can simply go to Google right now, and put in "Alan Roger Currie"; Then, go to page 2 or page 3 ... no further than page 4. And you'll see the link to this message board....

No problem.

It's not "physically" in stock at Border's, but if you express interest in the book, one of the store clerks will order it. It usually takes anywhere from 3 - 5 business days for it to come in. 2 weeks max usually.
