I think you have a misconception of what a neg is. Negs aren't insults as much as they aren't compliments. They are simply observations if you will, teasing observations. E.g. 'you have something on your face' or 'haha your nose wiggles when you talk'. The way you talked to her would make you come off as arrogant rather than cocky. And I would also say you tried to rush it too. Hope this helps.

I agree with the other two fellow PUAs, your negs were too harsh and you were too pushy about the whole number thing and trying to talk to her. Look up some different type of negs here on the forum (theres a shit ton of them) and use those isntead, and dont be pushy or needy. Next time make the girl chase you isntead of you chasing her.

I'll give you a quick texting tip. Never laugh when you texting a girl, no LOL or haha or lmao or rofl's. Just use smiley faces when necessary, and yes you were way to harsh, use words like 'silly', 'cute', 'klutz', don't say things such as 'stupid'.

i think you just went a little overboard with the negs, and you shouldn't have got her approval to call her. i usually just say "umma give you a call sometime" but once she told you not to call. i would've ended the convo making myself look busy to not demonstrate her that she's too important or on a higher level than me. because when you show more interest than them, they lose interest. value yourself. learned from experience
