Basically boys, talking to a girl last night she showed a lot of IOI's throughout the night. Ending with me getting her number...... I want to text her so we can meet up! But any ideas what I can say in the first text?! I was thinking "When are you going to take me for a drink then!?"

It is usually a good idea for the first text to be a low investment text. This means you are not asking for too much in return. It should be more about re-initiating contact and contextualizing your relationship as being more than a one-off encounter and less about organising a day 2 (in the beginning). Once you have re-built a bit of comfort and attraction then you can push for the date. Not a great idea to go straight to pushing for a meet-up so soon unless you know she is really invested.

An example of a low investment text would be “What’s up Jess? - Cute Aussie guy”

Also, try to use call back humor in your first text. This is when you reference a part of your initial encounter with her in a funny way. This shows you are creative and intelligent, though more importantly; it should get her back to the emotional state she was in when she met you. For example if she was drinking when you met her you could go for something like:

“How was your day binge drinker? ”

It’s also usually best to avoid overly emotional texts in the beginning.

A book that helped me a lot with my text game is “The Ultimate Guide To Text And Phone Game” by Braddock – Love Systems. This is where I learned most of the stuff above.

Just relax and be yourself and everything should be fine.
