We moved in to the bottom level of the house she owns, three months ago. Currently the upstairs is being rented out until the end of the month. Further complicating things is that she doesn't have her own car, so she's been using mine.

So... things have been rocky for us since moving in, and I think I'm realizing I don't want to be permanent. She's older, though, and feels like she needs to start trying for kids within the next year. We actually had a fight about it, where I said I needed a couple months to figure out if I was ready for marriage/kids and to see us start getting along better. She broke up with me at that point, but... well, it didn't take.

The thing is that now I'm pretty sure I'm not ready for kids, or marriage, and worse yet I don't think we really work together well enough. (We have too many of the same faults in my eyes, which makes living together difficult.)

So do I wait a few weeks until the upstairs is empty, then she can move up there and still use my car? I think I have to, otherwise I have to move immediately and she's left with no car...

The only thing is am I basically lying to her for the next few weeks? Not that I see a real option...

I feel almost like I've answered my own question, but wouldn't mind some feedback...

Shitty situation. I was in a very similar situation and I drug it out. I say move out now. Sucks she doesn't have a car but if you stick around it only makes it harder.
