So I'm new to the game and I'm still learning. This isn't a success story, but it was funny and I thought I'd share it with you guys.

I started talking to this girl I had met a year ago and I got her number through facebook messaging recently. I had tried getting her to commit to a date with her a couple of times before but she always wasn't available. Today we were texting and I tried to setup a date again, but to no avail. By now I was pretty sure she was a lost cause, but I figured I'd try one more thing, just purely for my own amusement. Here is the text I sent her. We'll call her Rachel for this post.

"Rachel there's something I've been hiding from you...I'm dying. I was born with a bad heart and the palladium core the doctors placed in my chest to keep me alive is ironically poisoning my body. Unfortunately I only have ten more days to live. My first wish before I died was to go to Halloween Horror Nights, which I'm happy to say is being fulfilled. My second wish...was to see you. I know we only met once but...the energy you brought to that interaction was...INDESCRIBABLE...and just once before I pass into the great unkown I would like to experience that feeling again. So how about Saturday at 3?"

She played along and although she couldn't make it saturday, she says she's going to try her hardest to see me next week (before I pass, lulz) . I'm thinking its not going to happen, but I'll see how it goes and if I salvage a date out of this, I'll tell you guys how that went.

I had a lot of fun writing that text, and I feel like if I just kept that light, fun energy from the beginning I might have already gone out with her. It was definitely more natural and it was an action I did for me, rather than a reaction to her, which is what I had been doing.

It taught me a good lesson that at the end of the day, I'm only doing this to create my own fun and I should treat it as such. Its better to be natural and go meet women the way you want to. Your brain is able to draw from your own experiences and calibrate your attitude and actions naturally, in a way that's custom suited for you.

You're a wise man.

A perfect example of how game is ultimately based not on what you do but how you do it. For example, you basically pedestalize her in your text to her (technically something to avoid) but you do it in a sarcastic, throw-caution-to-the-wind sort of way, so it works. I enjoyed this.
