Alright so basically. This is probably the fifth week of lab. Theres this really cute girl in my lab and the first few weeks I felt there was some attraction, catch her checking me out once in a while you know. But we didnt talk until last week. Last week lab was the first one that we worked with partners. We havent said a word to eatchother and she was sitting next to me that day so I decided it'd b a perfect time to sac up and I just asked if shed like to work with me. It went real well, practically felt like a date, great convo and all had her laughing she was definately asking me questions too. But only problem is the teacher had to look over something of mine when we were done and she got to leave a little early before I could, and I missed the perfect opportunity to get her number. Now I'm not really sure how to get into that kind of convo, especially considering we gotta be kinda focused on work during the lab, and conversation would not only be not so convenient but like short and also everyone would hear you so it might be awkward. We've had one lab already since then and she actually asked me to work with her agian but there was one other dude, conversation didnt go as well but I still dont think this is a lost cause, I just dont know how (or when) to make a move). Would it be wierd/creepy to look her up on facebook and start talking to her like that? help me out cuhhh ahah thanks

Inviting her to some sort of event may be the best option here. "I've got a buddy doing a show downtown"... "A group of us are going to the new art exhibit Saturday"... "I'm thinking of checking out [your school's] football game this weekend..." etc... whatever fits you. Anyway, once you think of something, next time you see her, invite her to it (using "You should join me/us" style language, not asking her). It's a non-threatening way to get her phone number with the added benefit of already having a reason to see her outside of lab.

+1 if you can seed the event first (mention it without inviting her) and then invite her to it later in the conversation, thus conveying the "date" to be little more than an afterthought. Her chances of flaking will be minimized.
