I've been on POF for a while and have gotten a decent amount of responses on there. So I checked out Match and saw that the women on there are extremely hot. The thing is, I get way less responses on there. Does anyone else on there seeing the same trend or is it something on my profile?

Members on match.com must pay in order to send messages AND reply to messages.
This means they see your amazing non-AFC messages go to respond and BAM.

"You must have a membership to send a message blah blah."

There is no way to distinguish between those who has a membership and who are on 'trial'.

Obviously if they can't message you back then you don't get that message in your inbox and your send/response ratio will be significantly lower.




A way around this is to include contact details such as your email of phone number but the filtering systems will remove your details and not even make you aware of it. So the best way around this is to enter your phone as:

0.one.4.four.six.2.8.nine

or your email: name (at) hot 'male' couk

If non paying members read your email will it still be shown as read on my side when she opens it?

So I'm taking that others have gotten low email responses because of not having full memberships.

I don't use Match, but my guess is, male members have to pay to have the ability to send out messages, while female members can get by paying nothing, as long as a guy has messaged them first.
