I would get rid of the picture of you standing in your bedroom. It looks boring and creepy.

As for your main pic... I'm not sure. It's risky, which could be a good thing. Try it out and see how it goes.

You profile is pretty weak though. I don't like the line "Hmmm... How do you write a profile and make it NOT sound like everyone else? Tricky isn't it." Because it seems DLV to me, and then your profile doesn't stand out anyway. There is nothing there that would grab anyone's attention.

I've started a new trend when I'm out at bars, I'm taking pictures of everything and getting people to snap shots of me and buddies hanging out, or with women we're out with, then I just use those (i tend to avoid the shots of me with the women as some women find that just tacky). But stuff that shows you out and about is always good cause then they won't think you're just some weirdo with no social life.

I'd say remove the "this is what I'm not" part, it comes off as a negative. And embellish on the good parts more to make your cooking sound more exciting. Cooking and food is a good topic that everyone can relate to, and I'd suggest adding some more activities and hooks to start a conversation.

I have the "this is what I'm not" line in my profile as well, because I also used Boy Clicks Girl, and girls comment often that they like what I wrote in my profile.

It's not negative at all, and lets girls know that you're for real and not just trying to impress them with douchebaggery.

I'm still tweaking the profile. So remove the this is who I'm not or keep it?

I kept it, and it seems to do well. You're in FL and I'm in PA, so there isn't much risk of the same girls seeing both of our profiles.

How long did it take for you to tweak your profile until you started to receive a decent amount of responses?

I registered, set up the profile, and sent out messages all on the same day. I received several messages from girls that I didn't even send messages to. And most of the girls I sent messages to responded within an hour.
