What are heathly forms of protein?

I recently suspected that I may be developing prediabetes so I started a new diet and exercise plan that was simpler than my previous complex one. The goal is to simply start eating ok and lose about 10 lbs so I can prevent going further into this diabetic cycle.

I've recently stopped eating a lot of processed foods, sugars, enriched breads, starchy foods, and high fat dairy.

I'm working my ass off like 12 hours a day to finish up these series of tests and get my full certification in Microsoft so I can get a job to afford better food.

My only question is what are good sources of protein that don't fuck up your liver or pancreas?

I already have a list of proteins that I will start consuming. I only want others to add to the list what they think is missing.

1.) Eggs

2.) Poultry

3.) Seeds

4.) Beans

5.) Fish

If I'm missing any other type of proteins let me know. And also anyone who knows about how to make complete sources of protein from things like beans or lentils I'd be happy to see information or receive a link.

I think Soy has the most protien to fat ratio of anything.

Its rumored that soy has estrogen-releasing properties
When I lived in Japan, they laughed at me. And I got a friend there who gained so much mass from whey, eggs, and tofu.

Most of the proteins you need are based on the release. Soy and vegetable proteins are easy for your body to break down.

Eggs are great for slow release protein, so they're the best for right before bed.
Whey is a quick release protein, so they're best in the morning and after your workout.

Eat only the egg white! it's high on protein..
not the yolk, yolk has a lot of cholesterol that could make you fat..

Tuna , cheap affordable , High in protien Somewhere between 35-40g protien per can , cant complain , theirs like no fat , also go for Brine more than sunflower oil.

Mackerel also is very good it contains alot of esential oils which help your body in various ways.

Type 2 Diabetes is managed with a Low Gi diet so just google that and im sure you will stumble across something.

Tips for weight loss Tb spoon of apple cider vinegar after dinner , Drink Ice cold water ( Has to be ice cold) . Drink 3 cups off green tea one after each meal and this will aid in weight loss :)

1. Whey Protein (it has a good balance of amino acids to and should not be over looked)
2. Chicken Breast (almost the highest protein "meat" there is)
3. Fish ( i dont eat it)
4. Soy
5. Almonds
6. Cottage Cheese (lots of protein)
7. Peanut Butter (not that skippy processed crap, get a small brand name)
8. Beans

You could always use a Eggs- scrambled, poached, omelet,Baked beans,Mushrooms,Peanut butter on bran muffins cheap protein powder to mix with milk/water for breakfast. Dymatize makes some great, cheap protein powders. :D

You wanna eat lean dead animals....chicken and turkey (white meat(, lean cuts of red meat, non fatty fish, if your eating eggs just eat egg whites.....Try to eat carbs that are slow digesting such as SPAM, brown rice, sweet potaoes, etc....Get some essential fats in Omega 3's, and Olive oil and such things like that....get a 3 day split in the gym and you will deinitely be on yoru way to a healthier lfie my man......better late than never!!!

Breakfast: protein smoothie(whey isolate) blended with fruit, egg whites, SPAM
Snack: Cliff Protein bar, banana
Lunch: Tuna with avocado, Quinoa(check it out)
Snack: Any nut but peanut, Carrots(can cause blood sugar spikes) or other veggie
Dinner: Beef, Chicken, or Pork(Highest protein), cruciferous veggie, Legumes
Snack: Greek yogurt and fruit

Don't forget about tofu, soy milk, beans, and only eat citrus alone
Make sure you get lots of fiber and starches in your diet if your worried about diabetes

Protein requirement of the body can be fulfilled by the intake of various food items like eggs, chicken, and milk. Soyabeans and Oat meal is also good source of proteins.

The biggest thing I saw missing of your list is red meat, beef and steak are extremely protein rich and should be apart of every bulking diet.

Whey protein is an excellent protein choice and has everything in it. You could put some into your daily smoothies or drinks :)

Optimum Nutrition Double Chocolate whey protein is the one I'd recommend - best tasting and since its whey its easily digested.
