I may have discovered something incredible here.

Like most people, I'm on Facebook and every time a girl adds me or vice versa, I make sure to 'poke' her. I've found this creates such a good rapport and gets her talking to you (and if not gives you a legitimate excuse to talk to her - Shy guys, I'm looking at you. ). It is the Internet equivalent of jokingly jabbing and playing around with a girl and we all know what that means...

Case in point: Crashed a party on Friday night and without exception every girl there added me on FB and I poked every single one of them in return. Poking the girl who showed the most 'interest' in me yielded a conversation and number exchange. (I'll let you guys know if I end up seeing her.)
