I finally went on a date with this cute girl (Saturday). Long story short, I met lots of her friends, genuinely had a great time (they were all really cool). So our first date ended up lasting around 7 hours, going to different bars and meeting her friends (she is very outgoing). At the end of the night, I drive her to her car, and I hug her, and then she kissed me. Bam!!! Then she invited me over for breakfast the next morning. I couldn't make it, unfortunately. The next morning (Sunday), I texted her and told her I had a great time. We texted back and forth for a bit!

I did not hear from her on Monday, so I texted her today (Tuesday) and said good morning, followed by a joke and asked how she was. It has been 10 hours since I texted her and no response. Why would she kiss me, invite me for breakfast, text back and forth the next day, and then wait so long to text me back today?

This is driving me nuts! Should I call her or wait for her to respond?

Man I'm sure we all had this problem. I would probably wait till thursday to call her but keep in mind you should have a reason as to why you are calling her perhaps to setup another date.

A girl I know said that she is probably feeling rejected since I couldn't make it to her breakfast invitation. Her opinion is that I should have been more assertive since she is the one who kissed me and asked me out on a second date (and I supposedly rejected her). But I sincerely could not make it!

Maybe I am wrong here, but I have never had breakfest with a girl that I have not spent the whole night with. I think this was a hint lol. But I wasn't there. I would call her in a day or so if you know her schedule.

She was inviting you to stay for breakfast .
