Okay, My date's dress is like a light bronze colour. So I have to sort off match it. But a bronze tie doesn't look that well on a white shirt so I'm wearing a black shirt with the bronze tie, so which colour waistcoat should I wear since a black one will blend in too much with the black shirt. And I'm sure if I continue I will confuse most people(I have just lost myself)

I don't think everything can be black except the tie although I don't have much knowledge concerning formal wear...

My jacket is also black, so should I wear a different colour shirt, waist coat or tie? So please just lay out which colour what should be or some thing like that.

Same here mate. Got mine on Friday - my dates wearing a similar sort of colour. Which fucked me off immensely when I heard, for this very reason. Anyway...

Personally? Just gonna go with a black tie. It's a bit of a bitch to match to that colour (although I'm not the biggest style guru out there, so feel free to prove me wrong) and black goes with everything. And a white shirt. Yeah, classic black and white. Can't go wrong.

I did consider tails at one point... can't get any more badass than that.

A navy blue suit with brown accents would look nice.
With a white shirt, brownish tie that matches her dress, brown belt, brown leather watch, and a pair of brown dress shoes.

and a lighter shade of brown vest if you want to go that far.

Just please don't get a suit that has pleated pants.
