| HB- "Hot Babe" the number after is our rating scale. We don't talk to anything less than a 6 and it goes to 10 which is supermodel hot.
Target- the HB in the group you are after
Obstacles- the people the HB is with at the time.
DHV- Demonstrate Higher Value; meaning doing things to show more social value than your "target."
DLV- Demonstrate Lower Value; meanind doing things to show less social value, ie. farting in front of her, making a stupid comment, etc.
AFC- Average Frustrated Chump, us before we learned the game.
Sarge or Sarging- to go out in the field and try to run your pickup game.
The Field- any area where you are practicing your pickup technique. Could be a club, mall, gas station, wherever.
Neg- a backhanded compliment (example: Nice nails, are those real? They still look good on you though.) Meant to indicate to the target she has done something to DLV herself socially. Thus, bring down her walls so you can talk to her.
B*tch Shield- The typical shield women put up to deal with AFC's. (Example: AFC- Can I buy you a drink? HB- Thanks, no buzz off!)
FTC- False Time Constraint, a statement made to DHV yourself in the Opening so that the HB doesn't have the lingering thought of when will he leave. (Example, I can only stay for a minute, but I want your opinion...)
MM- Mystery method.
Eject- to leave a set.
Roll Off- to change your body language so that you are not directly facing the target, you are looking at her over your shoulder, showing disinterest and Demonstrating Higher Value socially.
IOI- Indicators of Interest. Examples: A girl ask you your name, what you do, she reinitates conversation with you, flips her hair, touches her hair, gives you prolonged eye contact, etc.
IOD- Inidcators of Disinterest- exact opposite of above. Watch her body language, she isn't looking at you directly anymore, her body is no longer turned toward you, arms are folded, legs are crossed away from you.
Avatar- Your personal image you build for yourself, it's the way you dress, the way you act, even the way you style your hair.
Peacocking- wearing something of Interest, maybe a unique shirt, a piece of jewelry, a hat, coat, boa, etc.
