Clothes, how do they affect how a girl will react to you? I have a very basic wardrobe. I don't have any of those fancy designer clothes or anything.

well clothes are an extension of yourself if find, it is an expression of who you are. if you wear boring clothes, you are seen as being boring. If you wear very juvenile clothing (ex. plain tshirt plain jeans) you are perceived as younger or immature.
I find that you don't need to purchase fancy designer clothes, but have flexible clothing. Clothing that goes well with other pieces of clothing. Ex. a nice black blazer can go with jeans, dress pants, a nice tshirt, a button down or a henley. Therefore very versitile. Also look into good fitting jeans (i would stay close to a darker denim it looks classier), a nice belt, watch and nice shoes.

versatility is a virtue

Woman love men who dress well, smell good and take care of theirself , you would date a girl who dresses boring or like a slob, so yes go get yourself a new woredrobe, good luck.

Check out Target and places like TJ Maxx where you can get discounted stuff. Payless has some nice men's dress shoes and buy one get one half off. Just because you're going to need to get some stuff doesn't mean you have to buy Versace or Armani. Get yourself enough for a few outfits for the time being and then slowly work on it. I highly recommend some dress pants, nice fitting dark blue jeans, some black dress shoes, belt, and a watch that looks good, maybe even some jewelry. Again, target, and walmart have watches that look nice and are under $20.

GOOD LUCK!

find out about peacocking! mainly at least 1 interesting item (goggles, necklace, glow in dark bracelet) and colorful clothes, not what all the other ppl are wearing!

I go out in jeans, nice sneakers, and usually a fancy t shirt that is black but will have a large, colorful design, and a rare ballcap (5950). I get compliments on shirts from gals and hats from guys usually, and if there is an HB i just open the set! (shirts are like 30 bucks, hat like 40)

im pretty good looking tho, maybe for others they actually have to hardcore peacock. And im young too, so these clothes are suitable. Find what works.

Armani and all that wont help if theyre just the same boring colors of the crowd.

o and nice shades. NICE. like in gq.

It definitely won't hurt you for people to see you actually looked
in the mirror before stepping out the door. :)

Check out the Body Language, Voice Tonality, and dress section
of the forum for tips and to see what everyone else is doing.

I don't claim to be a master style guru, but check out my posts
in that section. I've written what I believe to be some good
advice on starting out on a budget.

You don't need big label to look good. I have a variety of different styles ranging from blazers, sweaters, and khakis to t-shirts, jeans, and converses. A lot of the times I'll combine styles into something good looking. Scents are big too. But, it has to go with what your wearing. I have a few different colognes that I wear. Sometimes I even mix them to minimize predictability. I get a lot of good reactions because of how I dress. Most people my age dress in only t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. The women enjoy the change in pace.

Clothes dont make the man, the man makes the clothes....

I suggest tossing billboard tees (AE, Hollister,A&F, etc ) that simply act as a walking advertsiment for the respective retail store not to mention you are dropping approx $20-30 per t-shirt.

I always try to stress, dress for the part... if you want college girls... done the college look, you want young professionals, step it up to the button down and black shoes...

Each person has there own style, never try to copy the style of others, its always better to create your style... and always refrain from wearing clothing that broadcast the designer...the girl should be interested in you for you not wear you shop.

SERIOUSLY I HATE clothes and shirts that scream their brand.

Please be aware.... Some places will not let you in with gym shoes or blue jeans. I am currently checking out places in Chicago to sarge at and found that out the hard way. Now I spend my lunches checking out what is going on at the different clubs in the city to find out which day would be the best as well. LMAO, walked in on gay night once, no a big deal, just really caught off gaurd, been to the place before and it was not like that then.
