Can I still get a decent tan if I have a sunbed just once a week?

Use a sunbed 3 times a week for 3-6 minutes a time until you get the colour you want.

Youre best using a sunbed twice a week for 3 minutes a time once youve achieved the colour your happy with to maintain that tone.

Also dont forget to moisturise after tanning or you might lose the colour or worse, start to peel if youre on it too long at any point.

I read that you were meant to moisturise before not afterwards, why do you say afterwards?

It's best to moisturise before and afterwards. But if you think about it, when on holiday you probably moisturise at the starts of the day, suntan lotion on, then moisturise throughout the day as required.

Logically, if you're looking after yourself properly you should already be fully moisturised before you're on the beds. Once you've finished your body would have sweated loads! You need to rehydrated it. Shower and moisturise is the best thing to do after Sunning.

Yeah... I should probably get on that.

Just can't bring myself to go to a tanning salon...

Tanning salons are not where you want to go, too expensive. Most gyms have sunbeds. So work out, then relax for a few minutes on the sun bed. Works for me.

Try and get in a sun shower. You have to stand up, but you get an all round tan.

Word of warning, don't have your arms by your sides!!!

Melanotan freaks me out. It dyes your organs! That's come crazy stuff!!! No jabbing myself with that.

Oh and the fact that it damages your eye sight is a little off putting.

if u can find me some peer review scholerly journals that can state that i would be glad to read them. as far as i know its a natural occering hormone in the body and was developed to prevent skin cancer. so it will protect you from the possible uv damage from the tanning booth. there is side effects though. i got real dark and having random woods all the time was kinda embarassing. but yah if u can prove that let me know. i know hundreds of bodybuilders that use if just fine. oh by the way asprin can kill you so stop taking it.

I asked my GP about it when I went for a clymaidia test (not sure how it's spelt, but I was clear anyway).

He's the one that told me those side effects.

Good knowledge about it's origins. I am impressed. Most people are unaware of such things.

With asprin, I am neither allergic, nor do I need my blood thinned. How else can it kill you?

I believe about 25% of what doctors say. they are about 10 years or more behind On new info provided by reseach. and drug companies and insurance companies pay them or dictate to them what to think and do. as for the asprin its part of the great oxymoron of our great society. asprin causes a hugh list of side effect and deaths per year but we hand it out like candy. but if there is little known about a certian drug people act like if u take it the sky will fall.
