Hello all:
I want to change up my hairstyle. My hair is relatively long now, up to my chest. Can you recommend a good (gay) hair stylist in the new york city area.

Cut it all off, smartest thing I have ever done makes me look older and a lot more girls compliment me on it. Im not saying buzz it off but maybe something short like a fauxhawk.

Can I suggest you either:
1) Post a picture of your face
2) Go to a professional hair STYLIST (not a barber)

That way, people can suggest things based on your face shape rather than blindly saying "that looks cool" or showing you a picture of what looks good on david beckham for example.

I did the whole buzz-cut thing a few years back. I want to find the golden medium.
Madals, I do want recommendations for a stylist in NYC. The reason why I'm not posting a picture and letting you guys give me tips is cuz I'm hideous ;)

I simply do not believe that this is true, you should be a little more positive! :D
I'm sure there are a few people here who could give you some advice based on your face, but that's your choice ofc.

Reading fail about you looking for a stylist. This probably isn't the best place to ask - just do a google for the best places.
If you are going for a total change of style then it is worth spending the money to go to the best places for the FIRST cut and then if you can't afford their prices take some pictures as soon as you get home and any half decent hair dresser can copy it.
