ok so ive learned all the terms for all of this, and i still find myself wondering when is it ok to neg,when is it ok to dhv. If anyone could just give me like a brief explination of when to use all these cool tactics that would be great

I myself am also fighting my way through the art of attraction. Basically, you want to DHV right after your opener. Transition into a routine, or if you're good with improvisation, just come up with it on the spot.

Negging is truly an artform. It's basically flirting. However, you can go way too hard on negs as I've found out.

Basically, if she is unwilling to do something, bad energy or sport, you neg. "Is she always like this?" with a slight smile to her friends. Maker her look like she's the one ruining the fun.
Then there is the playful neg, which is a tease. "You're so bad, I can't hang out with you". This is if she is flirting with you. If she smiles or laughs, you know you got it.
Teasing is negging, just a light version, a fun version.

Neg: Generally most useful if your perceived value is lower than targets. In other words, levels the playing field. If you are "hot" that night, you may want to be careful with this, you may shoot a chic's self esteem too far low with this if not done right

DHV- Accomplishes basically the same thing (level's the playing field) as above except raises your value instead of knocking the target's down.

Generally speaking DHV's are probably most useful, with negs as a 'last resort'
