Women are complicated. What she said doesn’t matter... but we know she liked you. Why else would she bother to take the time to approach you and point out to you that you’re a bad dancer?

You could have got some good negs out of this situation.

lol, Agreed. It sounds like she was interested (if not, why would she waste her time with you) but that is quite an odd way of appraoching you. Weird.

like everyone else said, its fairly obvious she was into you, and its an odd way of showing it, it has happened to me before though, and heres the jist of how i handled it

hb: you arent a very good dancer, you know that?
me: oh im not dancing, im having a seizure..why havent you called the ambulance yet?!

got a fairly good reaction, cant remember it exactly though, i remember getting a number close though.

I don't agree with any of you. I don't think that sounds like a person that is interested. I think that sounds like a fucking bitch with a bit of a problem and wanting to take it out on someone and make them feel as bad as her. It happens. I'm not saying it is impossible that she is attracted, but if so, she went way way way way waaaaaay too far with the insulting and girls usually are pretty well calibrated like that.

Sounds like she was just being a uppity bitch, some people are like that and sometimes even nice people have a stick up their ass some days. Don't take it to heart. If you get a repeat case, maybe you are a bad dancer, but till then, assume she was just having a shitty night.

Sounds to me like you might have a crazy bitch on your ass  . I would wach my back. Anywho, I can remember back in the day when I was a sophomore in high school, this chick used to act the same way around me. Really bitchy and stuff. Anyways, after about 4 months, this girl was talking to me all the time and almost stalking me. This girl was obsesed. She was the kind of girl who guys used to hit on all the time, so when she was the one interested, she didnt know how to show it. Being a super bitch to get me to notice her was her way. It sounds like to me that you've got that type after you. Maybe if you are lucky, she really doesnt want you. But if she's the type I described, stay far, far away.

... if its a hb6 then ignor ebut if it were an hb8 or above you could go with something simple like " how about you teach me how to dance correctly" after a couple of negs back

girl: hey dont mean to be rude but your a crap dancer do you think your good

I'd treat this as a shit test and answer appropriately. Control the frame: ask her if she wants lessons , divert the question , ask why she's attracted to guys who dance like you, etc.

Simple response I learned from "The Game"

Girl: hey dont mean to be rude but your a crap dancer do you think your good
You: RESPECT.

be dismissive, unaffected.

I mean, hell, you could have probably been like

HB6: Hey, don't mean to be rude, but you're a crap dancer. Do you think you're good?
You: Please. You love it.
*Turn away momentarily, and then start up a routine or something

I love the concept behind that line and I tried to like the line itself, but if someone said that, I would bust out laughing at them. Its just so ridiculous and not the good kind that impresses people. What it tries to convey is great, but its just ludicrous.
