I like your work. Some good posts. You might be able help me out with where i should take this and what next to say.


Anyway, so I'm 25 and she is 37. There's a bit of an age difference but it doesn't bother me hahaha.
She send me an interested notification after i send her one first. Next i wrote a response, and she replied as follows:

Hi James,

Well, I'm glad you liked it. No probs it would really be nice to chat. I was surprised by your age? without being judgemental.......you're a bit young! lol.

Pls. take care:) Hope you get someone closer!

"I'm glad you liked it" refers to me commenting on how i liked her profile page as she is sporty and active (and she mentions he best feature as her butt).

"Hope you get someone closer" - We are both foreigners currently living in South Korea. I live in Seoul while she is 90 mins outside in the country.
I also suggested that we speak sometime online.

I'm sure I've done stuff that i shouldn't have. Still just a beginner
Any help i'd appreciate it

Wow, that was 2009 I guess I'm a little late answering this huh? I've been a way for a while.

This is a normal thing for older women to instantly try to disqualify you based on your age. And unfortunately online this is a lot easier to do than in person. In person you can demonstrate values and things to counter act this. Online you can only respond to her message and hope for the best.

Some guys will say things like, "You're only as old as you feel, age is just a number. Besides, you don't look like you're xx." Then go into asking questions to start reintiating the converstation to build from there.
