The problem I had was that I wanted to make every phonecall perfect.

Puts alot of pressure on the situation and you only take the negative out of the experience. This way it snowballs into an experience of not enjoying the phonecall and if you don't enjoy it why the hell would she?

Then you become affraid to phone girls because they never go well and it seriously hurts you're game because calling someone is a good way of building rapour and getting a connection before and after the first meet.
