Hey Guys,

so decided to try online dating (match/okcupid & POF). Viewed the forum for a week and tweaked my profile until i started getting responses. i actualy find it alot harder than regular face-to-face PU, but want to do it ontop of my regular meeting girls.

So i seem to get alot of replies and when i DO get girls on the phone i can get a date no problem. ( i mean when i meet a girl outside and its real quick - just grab the digits)

However im finding it hard to get the number/build the conversation after initial interaction online. is this a sticking point or just part and parcel of inline dating?

do you ask pretty quickly? do you need to build any interaction before you can or how do you transition from conversation into getting the number.

Ive found if i dont act quick enough to the emails/chat dies and then you just dont hear from them again. But im not sure what or when to no. close

I was thinking of just being direct after a couple emails and saying 'm not big on emails, fancy chatting?'

it just seems the convo dies. they normally ask what i do, how ive been etc etc.... i can transition and talk really easy in person but because theres such long gaps in the emails i cant build up that momentum i would in person.

any advice welcomed...
