Thursday Night Hermosa Solo Sarge:

So I had no one to go with, and I sat and home pondering if I should go out or not. Well It’s not that I hate the solo scene its that I feel that the girls will think that I have no friends and make fun of me for it, lol. Quite the opposite reaction, in fact after me explaining why every time a girl would ask where are your friends, I would respond very energetically you are my friends, or every one of my friends made a different excuse to why they could not come out, some went somewhere else, one has a graduation (in November), one has a girlfriend that I just found out, and the rest claim that they have work. Oh guess what so do I. Now to the story…..

So I arrive at Hermosa at about 11:15 went into Blue 32 the first bar. Bought a Long Island to boost my confidence. I opened a two set and it did not stick. Opened one girl while I was buying my second Long Island. After I bought my Long Island I was talking to this one girl and these two older girls opened me, older meaning like early to mid thirties. They opened with a comment on the t-shirt I was wearing. With both I flirted really well and kinoed both of them. A afc tried to step in and then just stood there. Then one of the girls see her boyfriend showed up and did some heavy kino and then went to her boyfriend. I said to the other girl,
ME: *Starting Kino again “She seems like a lot of fun”.
HER: “She really is, that’s why I love hanging out with her”.
ME: “Yeah, I mean you both came out on a Thursday night that shows something”.
HER: “Yeah every where we go I always have a blast with her”.
ME: *thinking switch subject “So what do you do?”
HER: “School Psychologist, in a Beverly Hills School”.
ME: *Acting over interested “Really, no way, I love psychology”
– I should have said I hate them, but oh well, forgot about that, because I do love psychology.
HER: “Her, yeah, well my jobs not as important as it sounds.”
ME: “Well, I love different philosophy, I know a lot in that area”.
HER: “Yeah, that’s really great”
ME: *Starts the Mikes pointless philosophy routine “You remember when we were kids and we had all this freedom and we could do whatever we wanted without any responsibility”
HER: “Oh yeah, I loved that”
ME: “Well as we get older, things tend to get extremely complicated, so that’s why I tend to simplify things and believe in the philosophy that we should just. “BE HAPPY”.
HER: “Oh I totally agree with you.” *Grabs me a little closer
I then go through my little DHV routine and talk about my work and other stuff regarding happiness.
ME: “You want to go sit down somewhere and talk.”
HER: “Sure, yeah, where do you want to go.”
ME: *Slightly nervous “I don’t care …. Do you want to go over here or there….. lets go over here.”
Next time I'll be more straight forward. We sit down I run through the top 3 animal routine and then grab her hand with my other hand, and then move in for the kiss. Kiss close, then she says “I should really go back to my friends”. At this point I can tell she is nervous from kissing a 22 year old. I exchange numbers and then kiss again this time for like 5 minutes. Then she leaves to her friends and I chug my drink and leave the venue.

I head to this other spot, where I open up a two set. Ill just sum it up. I sit in this set for 45 minutes because these girls are pretty hot. They drink a new drink every 7 minutes, so by the time I leave set they have drank 7 drinks each. Well they bust on my for drinking the water, I explain that I need to drive home, blah blah blah blah. They understand, but still think I’m a pussy. I fall into the trap start taking shots (BAD IDEA). Next time ill just get one beer and sip it. After a while I did not isolate a target so I left the set with a business card close. Then I business card close this girl singing on this karaoke thing and then leave.

I head to the last spot, where I open up the hottest two set of the night. One Filipino and the other is I think Asian, they just flew in from Las Vegas (Happens a lot in Hermosa). I talk to them, but since I approached at a bad angle it does not really go to well, I number close one of them and then after that I stick around drinking from the Asian girls drink. Two afc’s approach, at this point I’m kinda drunk, but I don’t want to loose the sets to afc’s. One afc takes the Filipinos hand and looks at her with the “I think your so hot I’m in love with you, look”. The other chit chats for a while and instead of number closing he give her his number. I jump into the conversation with a bounce location opportunity and then talk about Chicago and Las Vegas for a while. I lose it because my conversation has no real content. Its like every time I talk they both stop talking to the afc’s possibly because of my delivery that I practiced, but then when I have nothing interesting to say, of course they don’t keep the conversation going. So after a while, I give them hugs and leave at about 1:10 a.m.
